in the air conditioner, The moving parts of the compressor need to be lubricated, so the refrigerant in the system is also called a working fluid (refrigerant). It is not a separate component of the refrigerant or an alternative working fluid. It also contains a certain amount of mineral lubricating oil. These mineral lubricating oils are mutually soluble with the refrigerant. . When the refrigerant circulates in the system, it will drive the lubricating oil to flow in the pipeline. The compressor exhaust pipe discharges high-pressure gaseous working fluid. Most of it will be separated in the gas-liquid separator . A small part will enter the condenser with the working fluid. The working fluid will be liquefied and miscible with the lubricating oil. In After the capillary tube is throttled, the working medium absorbs heat and evaporates in the evaporator (indoor unit heat exchanger during cooling) and becomes a gaseous reflux. The small amount of lubricating oil that was originally dissolved is separated out. Setting up a oil return bend can reduce the lubricating oil entering the condenser and facilitate the return of lubricating oil to the compressor. Especially during heating, and when the outdoor unit is positioned higher than the indoor unit, after switching through the four-way valve , the high-pressure refrigerant gas will condense and release heat in the indoor unit, and a large amount of lubricating oil will enter the pipeline and the indoor unit heat exchanger. The lubricating oil in the outdoor unit is relatively reduced, and the compressor may suffer from poor lubrication, resulting in overheating protection. At this time, it is necessary to make an oil return bend in the pipeline.
