’s parents bought a house and renovated it not only to give her and her husband a bedroom, but also added a children’s room so that they could bring their children to stay overnight! This is a 142-square-meter second-hand house, so the first thing I did after taking the house was to renovate it. The entire decoration process was chosen according to my parents’ preferences. The entrance cabinet and TV cabinet are combined together. A stool is designed on the side for easy entry and exit, sitting and changing shoes. The semi-circular full-length mirror is matched with a light strip, which instantly softens the atmosphere of the home. It is really beautiful.
The kitchen before the renovation had two entrances, one near the entrance and one leading to the dining room. The entire space was unreasonable in terms of cabinets and layout.
The renovated kitchen sealed all the original two entrances. Due to the change in the location of the restaurant, a new door was opened, leading directly to the restaurant. The U-shaped layout is very efficient. A golden triangle is formed between the sink, stove and refrigerator. There is an oversized window in front of the sink, which makes cooking more fun.
The space outside the kitchen is not wasted at all. One side is the bar and the other side is the laundry room. The biggest advantage is that it shortens the flow of household chores.
Original restaurant location.
The location of the restaurant was changed into my daughter's bedroom. Although the space is irregular, it is carefully laid out at first glance. There is a dressing table at the bedside and a walk-in closet on the other side, which is really enviable.
The original partitions in the cloakroom were replaced with cabinets, and light strips were installed. It suddenly became high-end. The mirror wall design is worth learning, and it is more than twice as spacious visually.
There are two beds in the master bedroom where my parents sleep, and there is a massage chair in the middle. It would be more comfortable to have a massage before going to bed. There is a TV cabinet, desk, and dressing table at the end of the bed. Although it is a bit crowded, it has many functions.
There is a desk and sofa in the children's room. When you bring your children back home, you don't have to squeeze them into one bedroom. Parents are very considerate.
Not only did the bathroom before the renovation not have dry and wet separation, but all the water pipes were exposed.
During the decoration, these two areas were optimized. The water pipes were all sealed for sound insulation and good-looking. A shower curtain was also added to separate dry and wet areas, making it more convenient to use.
This second-hand house has really changed after being renovated by my parents. Not only did it retain the daughter’s room, but it also added rooms for the grandchildren. The details were even more thoughtful. Do you love it?
