But those who observe carefully will find that these three types of quilts are the same in thickness, filling materials, and appearance, so it is inevitable to be confused: Aren't these three types of quilts the same kind of quilt? In addition to polyester fiber and silk, soy fiber, DuPont bio-velvet and other materials are also added.
In fact, this is not the case. With the advancement of science and technology, the materials in the home textile industry are becoming more and more abundant. Various new materials have appeared one after another and been applied to bedding products, making iterative improvements to bedding products. At present, whether it is an air-conditioning quilt, a summer cooling quilt or a cooling quilt, the filling materials used are basically the following: fiber (polyester fiber, soybean fiber, DuPont fiber, etc.), silk, cotton, etc.
From the perspective of use, there is no essential difference between the three.
Air conditioning quilt, summer cooling quilt, and cooling quilt are literally named according to their uses. As the name suggests, the air-conditioning quilt is a thin quilt used in an air-conditioned environment, the summer cooling quilt is a quilt used in summer, and the cooling quilt is a quilt with a contact cool feeling. But in fact, air-conditioned quilts can be used in non-air-conditioned environments, and summer cooling quilts and cool-feeling quilts can also be used in air-conditioned environments. The national standard GB/T 35263-2017 "Detection and Evaluation of the Instant Cooling Performance of Textiles on Contact" defines "instant cooling sensation on contact" as "the moment when the skin comes into contact with a fabric that is lower than its temperature, causing rapid loss of heat on the skin surface and instantaneous temperature change. The temperature decreases and is reflected to the brain through the temperature-sensing nerve endings in the skin, resulting in a cooling sensation."
In the national standard document FZ/T 62042 "Cool Feeling Fabric Bedding" officially implemented in 2021, it is clearly stated that the contact coolness of bedding fabrics is divided into three levels, and the contact coolness coefficient of A grade products is not less than 0.20 , The contact cooling coefficient of AA grade products is not less than 0.25, and the contact cooling coefficient of AAA grade products is not less than 0.30.

In other words, a summer quilt can be called a cool quilt. According to the national standard document, the fabric's cooling coefficient should not be less than 0.2.
