Yuan Shu decided to use the method of digging the tunnel and directly sent the headquarters of Agent No. 676 . To this end, Yuan Shu personally reconnaissed the terrain and drew a map. Yuan Shu himself would not sit still and wait for death. He quickly turned his mind and thought that he had the identity of a Japanese consulate intelligence officer on him, and then used this identity to put pressure on Li Shiqun. At the same time, he secretly managed to pass the news of his arrest by Li Shiqun to Eiichi Iwai.
After learning that Yuan Shu was arrested, Pan Hannian was not panicked. Instead, he thought of the most optimized solution. He also planned to use Yuan Shu's identity as an intelligence officer in the Japanese consulate and asked Yuan Shu's wife Ma Jingxing to call Iwai Eiichi.
