In the tenth year of Zhenguan, Nanliangzhou was changed to Shaozhou. Most of the current city was Shaozhou Wugang County, and the southern borders of the county were " Xiyuan Man " and "Guizhou Man" respectively. In the early Song Dynasty, the capital of Wugang County was moved to Chengguan Town, Wugang City, and the capital of Chengbuzhai was established in the original capital, and the name "chengbu" was first used.

In the second year of Chongning (1103), the county was divided into Wugang and Suining City County (maining together with Wuyou), and was affiliated to Baoqing Prefecture . In the sixth year of the third year of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty (1738-1714), Chengbu was once relocated to Jingzhou.
