The Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, Zhaoyang District Party Committee and District Government held a ceremony to present a flower basket to the martyrs' anniversary with the theme of "Promoting the spirit of heroes, continuing the red bloodline, and striving to welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Party."
Municipal Party Committee Secretary Guo Dajin, Municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Mayor Yang Chengxin and other municipal leaders, together with representatives from all walks of life, presented flower baskets to the martyrs.

Luo Yongbin, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, announced the start of the ceremony.
After the loud command, the guards marched to the monument with neat and powerful steps. Afterwards, the audience sang the national anthem of the People's Republic of China in unison. The audience stood solemnly, took off their hats, and observed silently to the martyrs. After the silence, the Young Pioneers sang " We Are the Successors of Communism ".
In the melody of "Flower Offering Song", 20 guards lifted 10 flower baskets and slowly walked towards the monument, placing the flower baskets neatly in front of the monument.
Guo Dajin stepped forward and carefully organized the flower basket ribbon.
Then, with respect, the city leaders and representatives from all walks of life visited the monuments and the tombs of martyrs in turn, and listened to the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs.
The solemn ceremony inspires everyone's heart. "The Party and the people have not forgotten our martyrs. I am also a veteran who participated in the war. Many of my comrades have died on the battlefield. In recent years, I have participated in the Martyrs' Day activities. The country attaches great importance to our martyrs and veterans participating in the war and has given us a lot of care." Zhang Jiazheng, a veteran of the war, said affectionately.
"My brother died in 1984. He died, but he is very glorious. Only when the country is prosperous can we live a happy life. Thank the party, the country, and all leaders for their concern for the martyrs." said Kuang Yuanzhi.
"Standing in front of the Martyrs' Monument, I feel heavy because the martyrs have paid a lot for us." Qiao Yixin, a fifth-grade student at Shuangyuanzi Primary School, Fenghuang Street, Zhaoyang District, said that we must study hard next, listen to the party, be grateful to the party, and follow the party.
Ma Zhonghua, Xie Hong, Tao Yi, Xia Lin and other leaders at home and department level, as well as responsible persons from Zhaoyang District and municipal units , retired cadres, martyrs and heroes, democratic parties , Federation of Industry and Commerce, people's organizations, non-party members, and representatives of the Youth Pioneer Team attended the ceremony.
