Although the clothes on their bodies are a bit ordinary, these people make people feel that they are not ordinary people. Indeed, these people are not ordinary people, but the national leader Chairman Mao, founding general Luo Ruiqing and his entourage.

953, Wuhan in the south still had a bit of biting chill. On the avenue leading to Snake Mountain , there were many people climbing the mountain to see the scenery.

Among them, a group of people wearing black coats and masks on their faces are particularly special.

Although the clothes on the body are a bit ordinary, these people make people feel that they are not ordinary people. Indeed, these people are not ordinary people, but the national leader Chairman Mao, founding general Luo Ruiqing and his entourage.

Chairman's special dressing is to prevent others from recognizing it.

Just after walking on the road for a short time, a hawker shouted: Selling stinky tofu!

Chairman's eyes lit up when he heard this. Chairman Mao from Hunan, who was in his hometown, naturally liked the food of stinky tofu, his hometown, so he walked to the vendor.

This hawker who sells stinky tofu is an old man. The chairman asked the old man very concerned about whether his business is good. The old man said it was okay when there were too many people.

Just as the chairman was chatting with the vendor, a little girl suddenly walked in and looked at the chairman for a few seconds and said: Are you Chairman Mao?

This sentence scared the people around him. The chairman smiled and said: I look a bit like Chairman Mao.

So, has the chairman been recognized? What kind of love for the people behind the Chairman's hiding his identity to the Snake Mountain?

(Chairman Mao)

Next, let us clearly say:

has been going on for many years, and then climbed Snake Mountain

In fact, Chairman Mao is very familiar with the place of Snake Mountain, because as early as twenty-six years ago, Chairman Mao had climbed Snake Mountain and watched Yellow Crane Tower .

(Yellow Crane Tower)

It is worth mentioning that this "Yellow Crane Tower" is not the other "Yellow Crane Tower". The "Yellow Crane Tower" in ancient poems has actually ceased to exist. The Yellow Crane Tower after this is actually a newly built Aoluo Tower, but it is still called the Yellow Crane Tower.

It was in 1927. With the counter-revolutionary coup initiated by Chiang Kai-shek and Wang Jingwei , the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party was officially broken, and the Kuomintang began to slaughter Communist members on a large scale, and the revolutionary force of the Communist Party was about to be destroyed.

Chairman Mao had already seen the true face of the Kuomintang at that time, and also knew that the Party Central Committee did not have its own revolutionary armed forces and would inevitably fail.

(Cheng Kai-shek)

At the Fifth Meeting of the Communist Party of China, the Chairman pointed out the key points of the problem, but was puzzled by the party leaders at that time, and made the Chairman unable to participate in party decision-making.

For a moment, Chairman Mao fell into a low point. The unwilling chairman resolutely climbed Snake Mountain alone. At the top of the mountain, the chairman looked into the distant land. At that time, the country was invading and the people were suffering from war, but the chairman was unable to use it.

Chairman Mao was filled with emotion, and in his thousands of emotions, he recited " Bodhisattva Man·Huanghelou ".

The "heart waves are rising" in it expresses that the Chairman will not sink or be disappointed, but will save the revolution, and even under the most difficult circumstances, we must continue to strengthen the revolutionary power of the Party.

After this, the Chairman firmly believed in his belief and moved forward bravely. In the famous " 7 Conference " of the same year, the Chairman said that shocking the past and present: Power comes from the barrel of a gun.

At this point, the Chairman began to lead the Party to gradually master its own armed forces.

(Old Site of the August 7th Conference)

Chairman's efforts were not in vain. Many years later, the CCP, which had almost no armed forces at the time, now has the most determined will and bravest Chinese People's Liberation Army in the world.

At that time, the chairman climbed the snake mountain, which not only cheered up his momentum, but also strengthened his goals.

So, twenty-six years later, in 1953, why did the Chairman go to Snake Mountain?

Before the Spring Festival in 1953. The Chairman suddenly decided: Go to the south to take a look. The Chairman's decision made everyone confused. If you go to the south at this time, won't you be able to celebrate the Spring Festival in Beijing?

Chairman waved his hand and said, "We will go to the south to celebrate the Spring Festival with the people."So at the chairman's insistence, Luo Ruiqing and others accompanied him, and the group came to the south on the eve of the Spring Festival.

(Luo Ruiqing)

The construction of the south made the Chairman very satisfied. After years of war, the Chairman was very pleased to be able to restore and build this prosperous scenery.

In early February, the Chairman issued another order: Take a boat to go up from Yangtze River and go to see Wuhan! Wuhan is an important destination for the Chairman's trip. After all, the Chairman still attaches great importance to the development of Wuhan.

After arriving in Wuhan, the Chairman inspected several key areas in Wuhan. The Chairman was very satisfied with the situation in these areas. In a blink of an eye, the Spring Festival came. The Chairman mysteriously said: After the Spring Festival, we will go to a place.

On the fifth day of the first lunar month, that is, on February 18, the Chairman said the place he had planned to go to: Snake Mountain. The plan was rejected by Luo Ruiqing, who was in charge of Chairman Security.

Luo Ruiqing advised: Chairman, the terrain of Snake Mountain is complex, and it is now after the Spring Festival, and there are many people going to Snake Mountain. I am afraid there will be safety hazards at that time.

(Snake Mountain)

Chairman shook his hand: How can you understand the masses, integrate into the masses, and contribute to the masses?

Luo Ruiqing had no choice but to ask the Chairman to wear a thick coat, a mask and sunglasses, so as to avoid Chairman Mao being recognized. The Chairman's trip was a bit like a "visit in a vague way", so he happily agreed.

  1. will be of great success and will be blessed with all the people

February 18 of the same year. This was a good day. Although the biting cold wind was still blowing, the shining sun in the sky and the people talking and laughing on the road set off the festive atmosphere of the New Year.

The Chairman and his group first took a black car. When they arrived at the bottom of Snake Mountain, the Chairman said: Let’s stop here. Let’s go down a few steps. We have to use our feet to climb the mountain.

After getting off the bus, the Chairman walked forward with great interest. After twenty-six years, the Chairman came to Snake Mountain again, feeling a little moved. In the past, it was the time to build a new China, and it was really unpredictable.

(Chairman Mao)

Chairman walked leisurely in front, Luo Ruiqing and others followed the chairman, but the eyes of several guards around him flashed from time to time. After all, their task was to protect the chairman's safety.

The people on this side were all wearing black coats. Although they were not wearing suits and uniforms, they gave people a feeling of extraordinary aura. The pedestrians on the roadside also consciously leaned to the side.

Chairman met with several passers-by on the way to chat. Although the passers-by were curious about the identity of the chairman, they did not ask. I guess they would never have thought that this tall man in black was actually the President of the country.

At this time, a shout attracted Chairman Mao's attention - "stinky tofu". The chairman left after looking for a sound and saw an old man selling stinky tofu.

Luo Ruiqing knew that the chairman was from Hunan and that stinky tofu was also a special delicacy in Hunan, so they followed Chairman Mao to lean towards the old man.

instead of asking the price of stinky tofu first, but asked: Old man, are you in good health? After seeing the old man nodding, the chairman asked about the price of stinky tofu.

After this, the chairman asked many questions, such as whether the old man’s business is good or how his family is going. The old man answered patiently while curious about the identities of the people in front of him.

Just as the chairman was chatting with the vendor, a little girl came over. After observing Chairman Mao for a few seconds, she pointed at the chairman and asked: Uncle, are you an official? Are you Chairman Mao? The question of

made the chairman stumble. Luo Ruiqing and others were also shocked by the little girl's question. If the identity of the chairman was known, there were many people here, it would be inconvenient to move forward.

Facing the girl's inquiry, the chairman smiled kindly and said: I look a bit like Chairman Mao. Then he touched the little girl's head and turned around and left.

After the chairman left, a chairman guard found the vendor and asked: Old man, who do you think that person was just now?

The old man thought about it and said, "I think he should be a high-ranking official." The guard smiled mysteriously without giving an answer, so he quickly caught up with Chairman Mao and others in front of him.

Let’s talk about the little girl. After hearing the chairman’s denial, she didn’t believe it. She chased the chairman and asked, and finally said loudly: I understand, you are Chairman Mao!

The little girl’s words immediately attracted the attention of everyone around her. People rushed over here, and some sharp-eyed people really recognized Chairman Mao and said excitedly: It’s Chairman Mao, he is really Chairman Mao!

As more and more people recognize him, Luo Ruiqing knew that this was not good.

But the chairman beside him laughed out loud, took off his mask, took off his hat, and greeted people: Hello everyone!

At this moment, the Snake Mountain, which was already a little deserted, was suddenly filled with people. The slow cold wind could not stop people's enthusiasm at this time, and the entire Snake Mountain immediately fell into a cheerful atmosphere.

The masses cheered excitedly, and those who were emotional even jumped up and shouted. Faced with the enthusiasm of the people, the Chairman could only wave and smile. The people were happy and the Chairman was also happy.

(The chairman left surrounded by the masses)

However, Luo Ruiqing next to him was very worried. People all came over, and their way forward was blocked. Even if there was no danger, this would delay Chairman Mao's itinerary. You must know that the Chairman's work every day is very important.

Luo Ruiqing first whispered to the Chairman: Chairman, we have to leave.

After the chairman nodded, Luo Ruiqing quickly ordered several guards to open the way in front, and he opened his voice: The villagers let him go, let Chairman Mao go out! The people in front of

immediately gave up a big road. They surrounded the left and right sides of the Chairman and his group walked forward. The situation was very lively.

Finally, after walking for a while, the group arrived at the foot of Snake Mountain. On the side of the river, there was a ferry waiting for Chairman Mao and his men.

After getting on the boat, the chairman looked at the people on the shore with happiness, and then waved to him.

(Chairman Mao and the masses)

The people on the shore shouted: Long live Chairman Mao! Long live Chairman Mao!

You should know that Chairman Mao has always opposed personality cult and feudal etiquette. But in the face of cheers from the people, the Chairman paused for a second or two, and then waved his hand and said: Long live the people! Long live the people!

The people bless the Chairman with "Long Live" and the Chairman returns the people with "Long Live". How can such a scene not make people sigh?

Chairman has always regarded "serving the people" as the purpose of the Party and himself. It is truly a contribution to the future and blessing the people!

  1. love in Wuhan, caring for the people

This trip to Snake Mountain was, on the one hand, the Chairman revisited his hometown after twenty-six years, and wanted to climb the Yellow Crane Tower again; on the other hand, the Chairman wanted to "visit privately" and inspect the lives of the people.

In addition, this time, the Chairman has another purpose, which is to climb high and look far, inspect the routes near Wuhan, and select a site for Yangtze River Bridge .

(The chairman checks the terrain in Snake Mountain)

The chairman has always been very concerned about the development of Wuhan. Wuhan relies on the bank of the Yangtze River. The Yangtze River has brought countless resources to Wuhan, but Wuhan is also suffering from the lack of a bridge to connect other parts of the Yangtze River.

"The Yangtze River has no bridge" has always been a difficult situation in Wuhan. In this regard, the Chairman had long wanted to build a Yangtze River bridge across the Yangtze River near Wuhan.

When the first CPPCC conference was held, Mao Yisheng and other CPPCC members also proposed that they hope to build the Yangtze River Bridge, which will not only greatly facilitate local transportation, but also bring unlimited benefits to local people.

However, due to the busy affairs in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the situation of being in trouble, the project of the Yangtze River Bridge was not implemented until 1955 when the Yangtze River Bridge finally started construction.

The Chairman attached great importance to this. He not only personally looked at the funds and specific matters used for the construction of the bridge, but also came to Wuhan many times to guide the work to cheer for the construction workers.

(Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge)

In two years, this bridge across the Yangtze River is about to be completed. Chairman Mao was very happy to learn the good news. He squeezed out some fragmented time and set off from Beijing to Wuhan immediately.

came to the front of the soon-to-be-finished bridge. The Chairman looked at the bridge that had accumulated the efforts of countless people and felt very moved. He found the relevant person in charge and asked many questions in a row, which was enough to show the Chairman's concern for this major project.

After returning to Beijing, the Chairman was still paying attention to the construction of the Yangtze River Bridge. When the construction was about to be completed, the Chairman personally wrote a deck:

A bridge flew north and south, and the natural barrier became a thoroughfare. After writing

, the Chairman happily sent someone to keep the word carefully and send it to Wuhan, and told him to hang it in front of the Yangtze River Bridge. At this moment, the Chairman was as happy as a child.

(the Chairman's inscription is hung above the bridge)

In addition to his concern for Wuhan construction, the Chairman is also extremely depressed by the beautiful scenery of Wuhan. The Chairman once praised Wuhan like this: a place with white clouds and yellow cranes.

After visiting Snake Mountain that day, the Chairman also went to the famous scenic spot in Wuhan East Lake . Here, the Chairman also left his praise: the beautiful scenery of East Lake is very rare.

For one morning, the chairman was carefully watching the beautiful scenery of East Lake, and repeatedly said to the East Lake staff next to him: Your East Lake is good, it is worthy of being a famous scenic spot.

After watching in the lake area, the chairman went to the shore north of East Lake again, where the terrain was flat, the surrounding hills were undulating, and covered with flowers and grass. It was truly a place of bliss.

Five years later, the Chairman came to Donghu again and went into the water to swim here, making Donghu one of the several lakes where the Chairman drew into the water to swim.

To this day, we can still see a stone tablet on Donghu Scenic Area , with the words "Mao Zedong's Swimming Place" written on it, attracting countless tourists to watch.

(Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area)

Speaking of swimming, the Chairman not only swam the East Lake in Wuhan, but also swam the Yangtze River.

It was in 1956. It was not once that the Chairman had come to Wuhan. This time, the Chairman made a decision: to travel to the Yangtze River in person.

Swimming is the Chairman’s favorite hobby, so that every place the Chairman wants to find a suitable lake to swim, such as the previous East Lake and the reservoir of the Chairman’s hometown of Shaoshan .

However, the Yangtze River is spacious and the water is deep. The Chairman's decision inevitably made several guards around him a little worried, but the Chairman's swimming skills are excellent and he is not worried about his danger at all.

So at the insistence of the chairman, he took off his clothes and bravely went into the water. The two guards in charge of the chairman's safety also went into the water.

Finally, the Chairman's wish to swim in the Yangtze River was fulfilled. This time, the Chairman swam in the water for dozens of minutes. At the end, he was full of regret, as if he was not happy.

(Chairman swims in the Yangtze River)

After this swim, the Chairman also wrote "Swimming in the Water Melody" to express his happy mood of crossing the Yangtze River.

After this, the Chairman seemed to be in love with the Yangtze River. In the next ten years, he came to Wuhan several times and swam the Yangtze River as many as seventeen times. It is hard to let people sigh at the Chairman's special feelings for the Yangtze River and his love for swimming.

1966, Chairman Mao, who was already 73 years old, was still alive and went into the water again to show his outstanding swimming skills.

On this day, Wuhan also specially organized more than 5,000 people to travel to the Yangtze River. This scenery of people enjoying each other is so beautiful.

Speaking of swimming, Nixon came to China again for his second visit in 1974. At that time, he had already stepped down as president because of the " Watergate Incident ", but Chairman Mao still invited him to come to Zhongnanhai for a sigh.

During the conversation, Nixon asked: Chairman Mao, what are your specialties?

Chairman just pondered for a moment and replied: Serving the people is my specialty!

(The Chairman receives Nixon)

As we all know, the Chairman and his favorite swimming, but when facing Nixon's problem, the Chairman said that "serving the people" is his own strength, which is enough to show that Chairman Mao puts the people first and puts serving the people first.

In Wuhan, the Chairman regained his confidence in Sheshan, supervised the construction of the Yangtze River Bridge, and swam on the banks of the Yangtze River. The reason that really drove the Chairman to Wuhan many times was always "serving the people."

Conclusion:

In order to go to Snake Mountain to inspect the people's sentiments and to avoid unnecessary impacts during climbing, the chairman hid his identity, but he was still recognized by a little girl.

Faced with the excited people and the excited people, the Chairman just greeted them with relief, and the people said: Long live Chairman Mao.

Chairman's meeting said: Long live the people.

The great public servant of the people, the great Chairman Mao, will always be in our hearts!
