In order to deeply commemorate the revolutionary martyrs, we will express our endless grief in our hearts and inspire the majority of party members and cadres in the city to take the martyrs as examples, take the martyrs as examples, set an example, inherit the will of the martyrs, strengthen their ideals and beliefs, and always maintain the original aspiration for the people. With high fighting spirit and powerful actions, we will contribute greater strength to accelerating the creation of the "five new Jianyang " and high-quality construction of the eastern regional central city in Chengdu. On the same day, Jianyang City held a 2022 flower basket presentation ceremony to martyrs in the city Martyrs Cemetery. Municipal Party Secretary Zhan Qing attended the ceremony. Su Chengxiang, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, presided over the ceremony. Chen Jianlong, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Li Jianzhong, Chairman of the Municipal CPPCC, and Wang Anning, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the ceremony.
Pine cypress surrounded by martyrs' cemetery is solemn and dignified. On the towering monument of revolutionary martyrs, the golden big words "Revolutionary martyrs will be immortal" are shining brightly. The neatly arranged flower baskets embody people's deep thoughts on people's hero . Zhan Qing, Su Chengxiang, Chen Jianlong, Li Jianzhong, Wang Anning and other municipal leaders and representatives of officers and soldiers of the troops stationed in the Sichuan Province, cadres of various municipal departments, towns (streets) and representatives from all walks of life gathered in front of the Martyrs' Monument with great respect, standing quietly and commemorating the martyrs.
After the order, the guard of honor marched to the monument with strong steps. The flower basket presentation ceremony officially began, and the audience sang the national anthem of the People's Republic of China. After singing the national anthem, the audience stood in silence to pay silence to the martyrs who bravely sacrificed their lives for the cause of the liberation of the Chinese people and the construction of the Republic. After a moment of silence, the Young Pioneers sang " We Are the Successors of Communism" to the martyrs' Monument, expressing the lofty ambition of contemporary young people to inherit the glorious tradition of the revolution and move forward along the footsteps of the martyrs.
Accompanied by the melody of "Flower Offering Song", the guards lifted the flower basket and placed it on the base of the monument. Zhan Qing looked solemn, walked slowly towards the base of the monument, carefully sorted out the flower basket ribbons, and paid tribute to the martyrs' monument.
Then, all the personnel walked around the martyrs' monument in an orderly manner, visited the martyrs' monument together, and presented flowers in their hands to the martyrs' tomb.
The municipal leaders at home, the main responsible persons of various municipal departments (units), towns (streets), democratic parties, and relevant responsible persons of Eastern New District; the troops stationed in the bamboo slips, public security police officers, firefighters, and representatives of teachers and students in school; martyrs' families, veterans, and families of active-duty soldiers attended the flower basket presentation ceremony.
