01, Zhao Hong and his family background
Zhao Su King Zhao Hong (1201?-1225), is the tenth generation grandson of Zhao Kuangyin, the ninth generation grandson of King Kanghui, the biological father is Zhao Xiqu (qú), and the successor father Zhao Han (bǐng), and Ningzong Zhao Kuang .
Zhao Rong belongs to the "Yu" generation, but his original name was Shuzai. When he became the son of King Yi, he was directly given the name Zhao Jun. Later, he changed the name Zhao Guihe. After becoming the son of Ningzong, he changed the name Zhao Rong.
His family lineage is: Defang gave birth to Weixu, Weixu was born according to Pu (pǔ), Pu was born in Shiyao, Shiyao gave birth to Lingshu (pò), Lingshu gave birth to Zi Yi, Zi Yi gave birth to Bo Cun, Bo Cun gave birth to Shi Chou, Shi Chou gave birth to Xi Qu, Xi Qu gave birth to Zhao Feng.
Regarding the birth year of Zhao Hong, refer to Northern Song Dynasty selected the stepsons, all between 4 and 8 years old; while the selection of the stepsons in the Southern Song Dynasty was mostly 6 years old, and Xiaozong Zhao Xun and Prince Zhao Xun, both entered the palace at the age of 6. It can be inferred that when Zhao Hong was made the heir of King Yi in the second year of Kaixi (1206), he should have been 6 years old.
Based on this, it can be seen that Zhao Rong was probably born in the first year of Jiatai (1201), and was 8 years younger than his elder brother, Prince Jingxian Zhao Xun, and 3 years older than his elder brother, Lizong , Zhao Yun (yún). When he was born, Zhao Xun had been in the palace for four years and had not yet become a regular person.
The first year of Kaixi (1205), when the 13-year-old Zhao Xunzheng was named the title of Prince Rongwang , Zhao Rong was only 5 years old and was still staying at his home.
On the first day of May of the second year of Kaixi (1206), Zhao Han (1177-1206), the emperor's brother closest to Ningzong, the governor of Zhaoqing Army and the prince of Wuxing, died. Before his death, he wrote a letter saying:
His son Zhao Gai (gāi) unfortunately died, but there was still a high-ranking mother who needed to serve, and no one worshipped this branch of incense. He asked Ningzong to choose a relative son of Zhaomu from the recent family and adopt him as his descendant to worship the incense of the King of Wei.
Ningzong posthumously named his cousin King Yi and posthumously named "Jinghui"; while ordering people to select the clan's sons. On May 14th, Zhao Xiqu, the son of the royal family member Zhao Xiqu, was named Zhao Jun, and was appointed as the heir of King Zhao Yan, and was appointed as the heir of King Yi, and was appointed as the general of the right Qianniuwei, and was appointed as the primary school professor of the Yiwang Mansion, and taught the heir of King Yi to study.
In this way, Zhao Rong became the heir of the King of Yi, that is, the closest nephew on the emperor of the dynasty.
The year after Zhao Rong became the heir of King Yi, on November 15, the third year of Kaixi (1207), the 15-year-old prince Zhao Xun was made the crown prince by Ning Zongzhao.
02, Zhao Hong and Quan Xiang Shi Miyuan Conflict
The contradiction between Zhao Hong and Shi Miyuan was not only happened after Zhao Hong was made prince, but when he was still the son of the King of Yi, he was dissatisfied with Shi Miyuan because his interests were violated.
The core members of the royal family during the Ningzong period, in addition to Ningzong and Prince Zhao Xun, father and son of Prince Zhao Xun, were the son of Prince Wei, Zhao Rong, the son of Prince Yi, and Zhao Rong, the son of Prince Zhuangwen.
For Ningzong, Zhao Xun was his son; Zhao Li was the son of his eldest uncle Zhuang Wen, that is, his imperial compatriot; while Zhao Li was the grandson of his second uncle Wei King, the son of his emperor compatriot Yi King, and his imperial compatriot, they were all descendants of Emperor Xiaozong and had the closest relatives in patriarchal law. Therefore, Ningzong was extremely favored to Zhao Li and Zhao Li.
However, Ningzong's closeness to Zhao Rong and Zhao Rong caused uneasiness to the powerful prime minister Shi Miyuan. Mr. Li Chao believed that Shi Miyuan was worried that Zhao Rong would affect the status of Prince Jing Xian Zhao Xun, so he tried every means to suppress Zhao Rong to eliminate his threat to Zhao Xun.
Shi Miyuan's specific operation is to change the names of Zhao Hong and Zhao Wen, change them from single-character names to double-character names, and directly increase the level with the Crown Prince Zhao Xun from the name to show that "respecting supremacy and respecting the foundation of the country."
Because The Song Dynasty formed a rule from the time of Zhenzong, only emperors, princes, and brothers were qualified to use single-character names, and the rest of the kings could only use a complex name to distinguish between relatives and alienation, to show the importance of being more important.
So, in July of the eighth year of Jiading (1215), Shi Miyuan instructed the clerk Shi Zongwan to write a letter to Ningzong, asking the emperor to follow the ancestors' constitution and change the emperor's compatriot Zhao Li and the emperor's compatriot Zhao Xun (both) to rename it to show respect for the crown prince Zhao Xun.
Therefore, on July 23, Ningzong issued an edict: Zhao Li, the emperor's consul, changed his name to Zhao Sizheng, and the 15-year-old emperor's nephew and observing envoy, changed his name to Zhao Guihe. He also asked Zongzhengsi to join hands with Shangshu and other officials to plan to name the descendants of Xiaozong as: Sigui is like Yan. The name change incident manipulated by Shi Miyuan has well maintained the authority of the Crown Prince Zhao Xun, but at the same time, it has seriously infringed on the interests of Zhao Sizheng and Zhao Guihe (Xong), which will naturally arouse Zhao Hong's dissatisfaction with Shi Miyuan.
But he did not show this dissatisfaction at that time. It was not until Zhao Rong became a prince and really replaced Zhao Xun's position that he could not help but burst out.
On the sixth day of the eighth month of the thirteenth year of Jiading (1220), Prince Jingxian Zhao Xun died at the age of 28 and had no children. Ningzong once again faced a situation where the throne of the throne was empty and the foundation of the country was not established.
Ningzong was 53 years old at this time and did not have much time and energy to re-select a six-year-old boy to educate him. At the suggestion of Minister Zheng Xingzhi's "establishing a chief", he decided to relax the age of his alternative heir to over 15 years old.
13th August. (Zheng Xingzhi) Mokan and Fenglang of the court. December. Except for the general to be the supervisor. At that time, the East Palace was empty. The emperor of China and abroad. The king begs to make a big plan early. And let’s talk about establishing one’s longevity. The emperor praised his request. (Volume 147 of the Shinto Monument·Yisu Zheng Guanwen)
In the face of the demise of the prince Zhao Xun and the empty position of the Eastern Palace, in addition to Ning Zong, who lost his son in his later years, was also extremely anxious in the court. Why was he anxious? Because he discovered that the closest thing to the imperial heir was Zhao Rong, the son of the King of Yi, whom he had offended.
After the death of his eldest son, Prince Zhuang Wen, Xiaozong passed over his second son, King Wei, and established the third Guangzong. He also wanted to designate Zhao Han, the son of King Wei, as the candidate for the Eastern Palace again and again, which caused conflicts between father and son. Even Emperor Xiaozong died and Guangzong refused to die. Emperor Gaozong, under the promotion of Zhao Ruyu and others, decided to let Ningzong replace his father Guangzong ascend the throne, and said to Zhao Han, "Your brother did it, you do it."
It was the words of Old Lady Wu that the prince died early at this time. Zhao Rong, the heir of the King of Yi, became a popular candidate for the royal heir. Both inside and outside the court and the king of Yi felt that Zhao Rong, who entered the Yi palace at the age of 6 and is now 20, is the most suitable candidate for the royal heir in terms of emotion and reason.
Ningzong, who has always acted as a rubber stamp and has no desire for power, may also have his own father and son robbed the throne of King Wei and King Yi and whether to return it to them. He also tended to Zhao Rong, which is naturally something Shi Miyuan didn't want to see.
Therefore, under the promotion of Shi Miyuan, the court once again selected the royal family members over 15 years old among the tenth-generation grandsons of Taizu. For example, the story of Emperor Gaozong's choice to establish Xiaozong and Xinwang , and selected more than ten royal family members, including Lizong Zhao Yun.
Ningzong ordered the prime minister to choose the 10th generation grandson of Taizu and over 15 years old to educate him. For example, Gaozong chose Pu'an Enping to establish Pu'an, so he appointed Guihe as the prince on June 13, 14th year 1221, and changed his name to the name of Huo, and was appointed as the governor of Ningwu Army, and was appointed Duke of Qi, and then he inherited the residence of Yi. (" Full Text of the History of the Song Dynasty " Volume 31)
But Shi Miyuan did not get the newcomer to become princes this time. There are two reasons: one is Ningzong's own attitude, and he has always missed the King of Wei and Kings of Yi. As Fang Dacong said, the prince "must come from Wei";
ministers were in the fields. I heard that Emperor Ningzong chose Jiading. I will remember the meaning of the previous dynasty's longing for the Wei Mansion. Therefore, Your Majesty's establishment. It must come from Wei. (Fang Dacong's "Tie'an Collection" Volume 1, Memorial of the Censorate, and the first episode of July 1236, 1236, Duanping)
The second is the public opinion inside and outside the court. As mentioned by Zhendexiu , the literati of the court was the most suitable candidate for the court to discuss Zhao Hong in the court. There is no more suitable for the students in the school to discuss than Zhao Hong in the school. Other groups also whispered, and all believed that Zhao Hong was the most suitable.
When the Duke of Fang Guo studied in the deep palace. How can you seek to know others? And the reserve position is weak. The plan is not decided. The emperor's descendants. Those who gather below the verge. No worries are worth ten. And the people of the court. He discussed the court and said: Nothing is like a Duke of the State. Schoolmates. He discussed Yu Xue and said: Nothing is like a Duke of the State. Other private comments. It's also true. He usually does not hear any news about the Duke of the State. The benefits and interests are not in line. Those who are not protected from personal gains and covet future blessings. And that's what it is. Then the tin of the life of kindness. It's really not easy to explain. This shows the truth that people's hearts are most preached. Even heaven cannot violate it. (Zhen Dexiu's "Collection of Western Mountains" Volume 37·Book·Penzi's Book [Xin Si])
Therefore, even though Shi Miyuan is a powerful prime minister and can play with the emperor in applause, he cannot override the emperor's own will, nor can he ignore the fierce public opinion of the Shi Lin Gong. Therefore, on June 13, 1221, Ningzong issued an edict to establish the emperor's nephew, Fuzhou Observation Envoy Zhao Guihe (Xong), as the prince, changed his name to Zhao Hong, and was promoted to Duke of Qi.
June 14th, Ningzong announced to the palace of heaven and earth, ancestral temples, country and tombs.
and soon let Zhao Rong enjoy the treatment of the crown prince. When he was in court, Zhao Rong was allowed to stand at the office to learn how to deal with state affairs. Fang Dacong once mentioned in his son's "Congratulations to the Prince's Day" that "the subordinates of the country will be cultivated to be good in virtue; stand at the office of Chao Xin, and learn about the affairs of the country."
It can be seen that although Zhao Rong was not enthroned as the crown prince, he has already enjoyed the rights and interests of the crown prince, and is nameless and real. At this time, Shi Miyuan could only try his best to repair the rift with the prince in the past.
Zhao Rong likes playing the piano, so Shi Miyuan likes his preferences and gives Zhao Rong the beauty who has been trained. On the seventh day of the seventh month, he also offers the prince a beggar and treasure to play to ease the relationship.
If Zhao Hong had a brain, he would definitely pay attention to his words and deeds in front of the beauty spy, and he would not reveal his true attitude towards Shi Miyuan for showing off his kindness and condemnation.
But how did Zhao Hong, who has a low emotional intelligence, do it?
didn't point to the location of Qiongya on the map and said to the beauty: Sooner or later, I will exile Shi Miyuan here! He deliberately smashed the Zhenbian sent by Shi Miyuan, and even made a fool of himself to nickname "Xinen".
His immature attitude of being incompatible with power, and his performance in the court as "smart as a god, making decisions in the matter, and being powerful and resolute", all made Shi Miyuan feel a serious sense of crisis. In order to protect himself and defend his authority, he had to take Zhao Rong off the horse.
So, after the candidate prince failed and was re-given to Bingyilang, Zhao and Ju ( Lizong Zhao Yun), who returned home, was secretly taken over by Shi Miyuan and pushed to the position of the son of King Yi.
On August 13, the 14th year of Jiading, Zhao Bingyi Lang and the General of the Right Governor of Ju Jin, were named Zhao Guicheng. On the 27th, he was appointed as the Guozhou Tuanlian Envoy. On the second day of September, Zhao Guicheng was made the son of King Yi. Shi Miyuan sent his confidants to teach Guicheng while hiding dormant waiting for Zhao Rong to make mistakes.
03, Zhao Rong and his wife Conflict between Empress Yang
Zhao Rong was dissatisfied with the Minister of Power Shi Miyuan, and the relationship with Empress Yang, the actual controller of the new wife and Ningzong, was not harmonious.
Queen Yang has a strong personality, shrewd and talented, and is trusted and trusted by Ningzong. She is the real controller of the harem. The former crown prince Zhao Xun was raised by her and had a close mother-son relationship. When Ningzong was pregnant, she was still promoted to the position of crown prince.
If Zhao Hong is a clear person, can see the situation clearly, and know who is the real person, you must not first establish a new prince to hang the wharf to hug your thigh? After all, your "unwise" father, the emperor, is a "mindless" father, and obviously cannot be counted on. If he is closely united by the "super energy" mother, Queen Yang, and relying on each other, he will naturally be like Prince Jing Xian, who will have a good reputation and stabilize his position.
But Zhao Rong was not close to Queen Yang, and even disgusted with Queen Yang. Why?
There are two reasons:
One of them, according to rumors, Shi Miyuan is not afraid of entering and leaving the palace, and it seems that he has taken Queen Yang to do hair, which has caused discussions from the outside world. Someone who is also a good person wrote the Yuefu poem " is in contact with the moon (chóu), Shu Juan and the sky are also blinded by " to satirize Shi Miyuan and Queen Yang.
Zhao Rong was very dissatisfied with the "unrestrained" mother and the bold and arrogant Xianggong Shi, and wrote in resentment that "Miyuan should be worth eight thousand miles". Don't you know that after he finished writing the first leg, Shi Xianggong knew it, so it can be seen that his ability to manage the family is also poor, and the prince's mansion is like a sieve.
As for whether Queen Yang has ever done hair with Xianggong Shi? unknown.
However, according to the personality analysis of Queen Yang and Shi Miyuan, Hou Ge believes that this scandal is a fictitious thing. After all, people are used to thinking that any stupid husband is mostly green on his head.
The second is that Zhao Hong is dissatisfied with Queen Yang's accusation.
Because Zhao Xun died early, Queen Yang also lost her future support. Faced with her new heir, she also wanted to establish a good mutually beneficial relationship like before, and marriage was the most direct and convenient method. So Queen Yang betrothed Wu to Zhao Rong.
Regarding the origin of Wu, according to Zhou Mi "Gui Xin Miscellaneous Knowledge·Ji Wang Causes Disaster", Wu was the granddaughter of Empress Yang of Ningzong Gongsheng Renlie. Hou Ge was also surprised. Yang Guizhi surnamed Yang, why is her niece surnamed Wu? But I still cited it in previous articles.
Later, my friend Hou Magu (qūn) gave me another historical material, namely Zhang Duanyi's " Guier Collection ", in which "Jidi Sefei" records in detail the process of Queen Yang's selection of concubines for Zhao Xun. Thank you again for the historical material provided by his friend Hou Magu.
Wu is the granddaughter of Empress Wu, Gaozong Xiansheng Cilie. After Empress Yang chose the prince's concubine, she sent Dazhang Wang Yu to the Wu family to announce it.
Maybe Wu was a bit arrogant at home. Therefore, Wu Zhu, the head of the Wu family and governor, wanted to refuse this marriage, so he begged Wang Yu to report to the middle hall (referring to Empress Yang), saying that the Wu family had already made a great honor for the family to be a concubine. Xiao Wu was a rough man and could not take on the important task of being the prince's concubine.
Wang Yu, who came to Xuanbao, said: This is the holy intention of the official family and the nave. Why did the governor say so?
Seeing that Wang Yu was unwilling to lead the conversation, Wu Zhu could not disobey his orders, so he had to say: Her parents were ignorant and did not teach her well. I am afraid that the holy name of Queen Xiansheng will be implicated in the future. Don’t say that I didn’t remind you today.
From Wu Zhu's words, we can see that Xiao Wu's temper is indeed bad, and it is likely that he is not able to bear the responsibilities of the prince's concubine and the future queen, and later as Wu Zhu said. However, Empress Yang, who has always been grateful to Queen Wu of Xiansheng and has taken care of the Wu family frequently, insisted on putting the next queen to the Wu family.
Just like that, Xiao Wu became Zhao Hong's wife, and she still had a chaotic marriage. If Xiao Wu was Queen Yang's granddaughter, and Zhao Hong would be the cousin's niece and uncle; but Xiao Wu was Queen Wu's granddaughter, and Zhao Hong was the cousin's grandmother and grandson, her generation would be even more messy, and she would scratch her head.
Wu Zhu predicted that since the young Wu married Zhao Hong, the couple had a mess. Zhao Hong had several favored concubines, while Xiao Wu was jealous and could not tolerate her husband's favored concubine. Every time he entered the palace, he would complain to Queen Yang, saying that Zhao Hong was wrong. In anger, he naturally spoke without saying anything and said anything. The couple made a headache for Queen Yang.
After a private banquet one day, Empress Yang rewarded the young couple with a crystal double lotus, and asked Zhao Rong to wear it for Xiao Wu himself, and tried his best to advise them to be harmonious with each other.
But a few days later, Xiao Wu came to the palace to complain, saying that Zhao Hong and the others had a quarrel again. During the dispute, Zhao Hong accidentally shattered the crystal double lotus, and Xiao Wu sued Zhao Hong with added fuel to the fire, and he broke it on purpose, such as disrespect for the queen of the mother, and so on, which finally aroused the anger of Queen Yang.

Knowing that the heir was dissatisfied with him and the strong personality, Queen Yang naturally would not put her hot face on her cold butt, and her attitude towards Zhao Rong began to become neither salty nor light.
Crown Prince Zhao Xun, who was protected by his elder mother, entered the palace at the age of 6. He established the title of prince at the age of 13 and directly won the title of prince at the age of 15. He was ordered to be the crown prince at the age of 15, which was smooth sailing.
When Zhao Rong came to him, it was good that Queen Yang did not stumbling with him. How could she help him again? Besides, this guy is not grateful!
Therefore, although Zhao Ying established the title of prince and stood in the court, he was only Duke of Qi. On the tenth day of May of the 15th year of Jiading (1222), he was granted the title of Duke of Ji.
On the 12th of the same month, Zhao Guicheng (Lizong), the son of the King of Yi and the envoy of the Guozhou Tuanlijian, was expelled from the Shaozhou defense envoy.
04, cooked ducks can fly
Because of Zhao Rong's status, there are naturally no shortage of people who are tempted by the enemy. Since he opened the mansion, there have been many cars and horses and bustling families, and all kinds of messy people are surrounded by him, including spies installed by Shi Miyuan.
Therefore, even if Shi Miyuan did not give the beauty to Zhao Hong, his words and deeds in the prince's mansion were not a secret. On July 7, 14th year of Jiading, Zhao Hong deliberately broke the treasure that Shi Miyuan gave him while he was drunk, which made Shi Miyuan, who was testing him realize that the relationship between them was irreconcilable.
, Shi Miyuan, who was unwilling to sit and wait for death, strengthened his teachings to Zhao Guicheng, and instructed his followers to give Zhao Rong a pill in front of Ningzong, saying that he favored maids and concubines, was indifferent to the small people, was arrogant and frivolous, debauchery, and was also praised by Zhao Guicheng for being steady and dignified, pure and studious.
Although Ningzong was an emperor with only ears, he could not understand that this was Shi Miyuan's trick to abolish and establish, but Shi Dang said too much, and both inside and outside the court and the country knew that Shi Xiang wanted to make a prince.
At this time, Zhendexiu, who was filial to his mother in his hometown of Pucheng , knows that the young prince was disrespectful to his later mother and disrespectful to his time.
Zhen Dexiu was a professor in the second year of Jiading (1209), and taught Xiao Zhao Hong, who was the son of the King of Yi, that the two had a close teacher-student relationship.
(I want to make a mistake in the old article here. In the article " Song Lizong Zhao Yun: Being a farmer in the morning, ascending to the emperor's hall in the evening, the puppet emperor raised by powerful ministers", Photo Dexiu was the prince's master at that time, and resigning from office because she advised the prince not to be adopted.
was obviously misled by the sentence "Zhen Zhenxishan and the royal palace sect" in "Continuing the Song Zhongxing Chronicle Zizhi Tongjian". Zhen Dexiu was in her hometown at that time and did not serve as the master of the prince's mansion. The so-called resignation to avoid disaster was a bit of a burying the true master. It was only after the exile in Jiading that he "waited for Baomoge and Hunan to appease the envoy of the Hunan Pacification Envoy".)
Hearing this situation, he naturally worried and anxious for the naive and ignorant Zhao Rong. On the first day of August 14th year of Jiading, he wrote a letter to Zhao Rong to warn him:
Don’t be too hard, don’t be soft, you should be hard and soft, and it is more important to use it all over the place. The first priority now is not to point fingers at the current affairs and telling each other about the times. That is not your business. You should please the two palaces. "Follow the respect of food and concern. To inherit the joy of the two palaces, cultivate the sincerity of self-improvement and virtue. To reliably rely on the relatives of the two palaces"; to study the political gains and losses of the previous generation, "Study carefully and learn. The gains and losses of the previous generation. The right and wrong of the previous generation. You must seek it deeply. You must talk about it well." Let's talk about the others later.
Zhen Dexiu's advice did not alert Zhao Rong, but instead acted in his ears and did his own thing. Zhen Master once again wrote a letter to the prince:
Don't be guided by the evil spirits around you, and drive villains away from you, and do three things in your body: one is to be filial, two is to be diligent in learning, and three is to distinguish between dignity (tè). Imitate the Zhou Wenwang , and give your parents three times in one day to have a morning, midnight, and evening care. Don’t go to see your parents once a month. Be careful and dare not be negligent; study to cultivate virtue, cultivate oneself and nature; distinguish between evil and good, and be close to the virtuous and stay away from the flattery.
According to Zhen Dexiu's letter, Zhao Rong rarely goes to the palace to pay tribute to Ningzong and Empress Yang. As a prince, he does not have close enough contact with the inner palace, and sometimes it will be fatal.
Facing the true master's worries, Zhao Rong did not agree, and obediently expelled a few villains. The problem was that not long after, he summoned the expelled people by his side.
After the true master who was worried about him found out, he wrote the third letter "The Book of the Prince". His tone was very serious and he warned him:
How can the prince's mansion accommodate the heretics of the left? You must be careful now and be cautious in your words and actions, and you can no longer do it in a straightforward manner. Now you have to change your rules and make changes, and there is still something to do, otherwise it will be beyond the reach of the navel.
Zhao Hong ignored the good intentions of Master Zhen. He may have seen his brother Zhao Xun be very happy at the beginning. He was also the heir to the throne that he had made a foregone conclusion. What are you afraid of?
Alas, he only saw Zhao Xunlezai, but he did not see him respecting his later mother internally and respecting his own face externally. He was really a melon baby.
16th year of Jiading (1223) The sixth day of the first lunar month, Ningzong's harem gave birth to the ninth prince Zhao Di (chí), but then died on February 25, and was posthumously named King Pi (pī), with the posthumous title of "Chongmei". The little prince who came and went in a hurry did not have any impact on Zhao Rong's status.
On the fifth day of the June 2018, Zhao Feng's son Zhao Quan (quán) was born. Ning Zong, who was promoted to his grandfather, was very happy and excitedly went to report to the heaven and earth, the ancestral temple, the country, the tombs, and the palace, and reported to the heaven and earth and ancestors that there were successors in the Song Dynasty.
This ceremony will only be held if the birth of the emperor's grandson. It can be seen that in Ningzong's mind, Zhao Rong is the crown prince, but with his IQ, he could not imagine the difference between the prince and the crown prince. Queen Yang did not speak for Zhao Rong, so Zhao Rong was not made the crown prince from beginning to end, although he enjoyed the treatment of the crown prince.
August 18th, Ningzong gave the emperor's grandson name Zhao Quan, and was appointed as the general of the left front Niuwei. However, on the 22nd day, the emperor's grandson Zhao Quan died and was awarded the title of Fuzhou Defense Envoy and was posthumously named Marquis of Yongning.
At this time, Ningzong's condition had taken a sharp turn for the worse. On the second day of the eighth month of the leap month, when Ningzong was dying, Shi Miyuan quickly launched a conspiracy and secretly summoned the direct scholar Cheng Yu (bì), and promised to be the ruler. He drafted a prosecutor to abolish Zhao Yu and establish Zhao Guicheng, and sent someone to pick up Zhao Guicheng into the palace, so that Empress Yang's nephew Yang Gu and Yang Shi would enter the palace to obtain support.
Although Queen Yang has no good feelings for Zhao Hong, she respects her husband Ning Zong's decision and believes that Zhao Hong is the heir of Ning Zong and cannot be abolished or established. Anyway, no one who ascended the throne can escape.
Because of Queen Yang's firm opposition, Shi Miyuan did not dare to act rashly. He could only let the second Yang exaggerate the dissatisfaction of Prince Zhao Hong with Queen Yang's interference in politics, which aroused Queen Yang's disgust towards Zhao Hong. That night, the second Yang traveled back and forth seven times, circulating a message between Queen Yang and Shi Miyuan.
Finally, Er Yang, who had already jumped on Shi Miyuan's ship, knelt down and cried and said: The military and civilians inside and outside have returned to their hearts. If they disagree, they will cause trouble. At that time, no one in the Yang family will survive!
Perhaps considering Zhao Rong's character, I'm afraid that he could do unfilial things as he ascended the throne, or perhaps because he was unfavorable to the country due to the consequences of turning against Shi Miyuan. Anyway, based on various factors, Empress Yang finally agreed to depose Zhao Rong and change Zhao Guicheng (Lizong Zhao Yun).
In the early morning of the third year of the lunar month, Ningzong, who had been in a daze for life, collapsed in Funing Palace. The new prince Zhao Yun ascended the throne in front of Ningzong Ling with the support of the Queen and Shixiang. He was the Emperor Lizong of Song. The prince Zhao Rong, who was supposed to ascend the throne, was awarded the title of Prince of Jiyang and the ruling of Ningguo Mansion.
On the 11th of the leap August, Zhao Hong, who had transformed from a prince into a royal brother, was awarded the title of King Ji.
On the 15th day of the leap August, Lizong respected the new mother, Empress Yang, as the Empress Dowager.
leap August 19th, Shi Miyuan led all officials and ministers to ask the Empress Dowager to follow the government. After eight times of submitting the letter, Empress Dowager Yang agreed.
leap August 26, Empress Dowager Yang and Song Lizong began to follow the government. The emperor's brother, King Ji, was awarded the title of Huzhou , and then he received the title of Li Quanguan.
On September 15, the wife of the emperor's brother, Zhao Hong, was named Wu, the wife of Weiguo.
The ninth day of the first lunar month in the first year of Baoqing (1225) ("Qi Dongyeyu" is recorded as the eighth day of the first lunar month), the brothers from Huzhou planned to make Zhao Rong the emperor, but the matter was defeated, which is known in history as the Sichuan Incident.
15th day of the first lunar month (the date is recorded in the full text of " Song History , "Song History" records the twenty-five days, and "Qi Dongyeyu" records the one day after the incident), Zhao Hong was killed by Shi Miyuan's confidant Qin Tianxi, and there was a saying that he had hanged to death, and there was a saying that he died of poisoning.
And Zhao Cheng's wife Xiao Wu became a monk and nun. I don't know whether it was voluntary or forced. Later, he was given the title of Master Huijing Fakong by Lizong.
05, Hou Ge said
To be fair, as an adoptive prince, Zhao Rong's cards are really good. Although his father is "unwise", he is better at obedience; although his mother is strong, she is the kind of person who respects me one foot and I one foot; even if you don't like Shi Miyuan, can't bear it first?
As Zhendexiu advises, your child should not think about anything now, just show your presence in front of your adoptive parents, play the role of a caring little cutie, study hard, cultivate oneself and maintain a low profile, even if you are pretending, everything will be waiting for you to sit in that seat.
But Zhao Rong, this guy, doesn’t listen to good people! It was inevitable that he would cut off all internal aid and external forces with his own strength, and finally miss the throne!
Although Zhao Rong is a sympathetic tragic character, he is really a failure in his life. His words and actions are really both annoying and ridiculous. If he leaves a good impression on his elder mother, Queen Yang will not agree to replace him.
Zhenzong Zhao Heng As the emperor's parent-child, the crown prince who was forbidden to be supported by the prime minister would have been almost replaced by the queen's spirit; Yingzong Zhao Shu, like Zhao Rong, was the emperor's only adopted son at that time, and was also the heirs who were both noticed by China and abroad. If it were not for the prime minister and queen's support, he would have been almost turned over by the royal family.
Zhao Rong, who offended the queen and prime minister, didn't know where the confidence came from, and felt that he could ascend the throne successfully? Why?
Honor said that he really couldn't understand his brain circuit, and he could only explain it with a sentence of youthful and vigorous spirit and not understanding the danger of the hearts of the people in the world.
is that.
