Anti-Japanese hero Zhao Yiman studied abroad archives were solicited and returned to China
On the eve of the 691st anniversary of the "September 18th" Incident, the reporter learned from the History and Chronicles Research Office of the Harbin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China that the historical materials of anti-Japanese hero Zhao Yiman studied abroad were solicited and returned to China a few days ago. These historical materials are historical records retained by Zhao Yiman during his study in the Soviet Union. They are mostly filled in by her own writing, including Chinese and Russian texts, with a total of more than 20 pages, mainly including "Student Party Work Experience Survey Form", letters written to the leaders of Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow, etc.

Zhao Yiman, whose original name was Li Kuntai, was born in Yibin, Sichuan. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1926 and served as the political commissar of the 2nd Regiment of the 1st Division of the 3rd Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Forces in 1935. On August 2, 1936, Zhao Yiman died heroically. He was a representative of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army soldiers who climbed ice and lie on snow and swear to fight the Japanese invasion to the death. Her photo with her son during her lifetime, her files of being cruelly tortured by the Japanese invaders after being arrested, and her letters (authorized letters) to her son before being killed are well known. Her image of a hero who sacrifices her head and sheds her blood for the independence of the country and the happiness of the people is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

"Zhao Yiman studied at Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow, Soviet Union from September 1927 to November 1928, but the archives were not discovered at that time, and it has a history of more than 90 years." Bian Qingshan, the initiator of the Zhao Yiman overseas study abroad archive collection activity and director of the Party History and Research Department of the History and Chronicle Research Office of the Harbin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, said that in recent years, domestic research on Zhao Yiman has not found any authoritative new historical materials.
Bian Qingshan introduced that with the efforts of relevant party history experts in our country, after many communication and discussions with people traveling to Russia, they finally found the study abroad archives of martyr Zhao Yiman in Russia.
