Bad girl of Nazi Germany: Gerda Steinhoff.

Gerda Steinhoff was a Nazi SS concentration camp supervisor after Germany invaded Poland in 1939. Gerda Steinhoff was the overseer of the Nazi concentration camp. He was born on January 29, 1922 in Danzig-Lonfurt. She worked at a farm in Tegenhagen and later at a bakery in Danzig until 1944. She married in January 1944 and gave birth to a child. She went to work for the SS in the Stusov concentration camp.

On October 1, 1944, she became a chairman of the Stusov Women’s Training Camp SK-III. There are 400 women and children in her jurisdiction, all at her mercy. She was also involved in selecting prisoners to the gas chamber. On October 31, 1944, the young head nurse was promoted to senior SS supervision and assigned to the Ostrow branch. She continued her activities there. On December 1, 1944, Gerda was reassigned to the Bydgoszcz sub-camp near Danzig. On January 25, 1945, she received a medal there in recognition of her loyalty and service to the Third Reich. Gerda is committed to her work in the camp and is considered a very ruthless overseer. Soon after, she fled the camp and went home. In January 1945, Gerda Steinhoff moved to Bydgoszcz (another satellite camp), Poland, where she stayed until after the war. She was awarded the "Iron Cross" for her efforts during the war.

On May 25, 1945, she was arrested by Polish officials and sent to prison. She was tried together with other SS women and Cabos, and was sentenced to death for participating in selection and being considered a sadist. She was publicly hanged in Bikupiagorka on July 4, 1946.
