When Yuan Shikai became emperor, he named these three people kings, one is a descendant of Confucius and the other is a great man of the Republic of China

In December 1915, Yuan Shikai, the first president of the Republic of China, announced the restoration of the monarchy, proclaiming himself emperor, and changing the country's name to "Empire". The auspicious day of the official enthronement is set for January 1, 1916.

After Yuan Shikai became the emperor, he first organized an indecent and nondescript celebration party for a hundred officials in Zhonghai. Due to the rush of time and no preparations beforehand, the officials who came to Zhaohe included only those in Beijing, and most of the local officials did not attend. There was neither uniform clothing nor prescribed procedures for this pilgrimage. Some of the officials who came to congratulate were dressed in long gowns and mandarins, some in suits and gowns, and military attachés even went to congratulate them, while some casual officers came simply in their ordinary uniforms.

After the Hundred Officials’ Congratulations, Yuan Shikai imitated the founding monarchs of the ancient feudal dynasties and began to seal the civil and military affairs of the country in order to appease the power factions of all parties at that time. In accordance with the order of the baronial position of Gonghou, more than one hundred dignitaries of the Republic of China were canonized.

After Yuan Shikai became emperor, he made these three kings, one is a descendant of Confucius and the other is a great man of the Republic of China.

At that time, Yuan Shikai named three kings. One prince and two county princes.

The one who was crowned the king of the county was Kong Lingyi. Kong Lingyi is a descendant of Confucius, his 76th generation grandson, in 1877, he succeeded in Yan Sheng.

In 1915, six people, including Yang Du, Sun Yuyun, Yan Fu, Liu Shipei, Li Xiehe, and Hu Ying, organized the "Craft Security Council" in support of Yuan Shikai's restoration of the monarchy, and Kong Lingyi was named "Honorary Director".

Yuan Shikai proclaimed the emperor, in order to reward Kong Lingyi for his promotion, sealed the hole in the name of Zhengshitang, and he was named Yan Shenggong and the county king.

was crowned the throne, and the other was Long Jiguang.

Long Jiguang, born as a chieftain of the Yi nationality, was a general of the Qing army. In December 1907, when he was appointed Longzhou Bingbei Dao, he cooperated with Lu Rongting Ministry to suppress the Zhennanguan Uprising held by Zhongshan, Huangxing, Hu Hanmin, Huang Mingtang, etc., and was promoted to admiral.

Long Jiguang was a powerful warlord in the early years of the Republic of China, and was General Zhenwu. When Yuan Shikai restored the monarchy. Long Ji Guangli agreed. Take the lead in supporting Yuan Shikai ascending the throne and proclaiming emperor.

After Yuan Shikai ascended the throne, he gave Long Jiguang the title of first-class duke, and soon he was given the title of county king.

The crowned prince is the first great man of the Republic of China-Li Yuanhong.

The full name of the prince is called Prince Wuyi. This title was given to Li Yuanhong, the hero of the 1911 Republic and Vice President of the Republic of China.

Li Yuanhong is a great man in the Republic of China, this statement comes from Zhang Taiyan.

Zhang Taiyan believes that Li Yuanhong has a better character, not greedy for money, or nasty. Li Yuanhong played a very important role in the process of the Revolution of 1911. He has two presidents and three vice presidents. Zhang Taiyan praised him for "comparing to Sun (text) and Huang (Xing)".

After Yuan Shikai became emperor in 1915, Li Yuan Hongli moved to Dongchang Hutong and thanked guests behind closed doors.

On December 15th, Yuan Cede named Li Yuanhong the Prince of Wuyi. Unexpectedly, the "former" vice president refused. After

was canonized, Yuan Shikai sent his confidant official Lu Zhengxiang and others to Li Yuanhong’s residence to Dao Xi, but Li Yuanhong sneered. He told Lu Zhengxiang: "President Yuan is so kind and appointing me as Prince Wuyi. Although I have been notified to the whole country, I really can't accept it."

Li Yuanhong also said: “President Yuan Da’s designation of me as a prince was just thinking of my merits in Wuchang’s first uprising, but in fact, I didn’t participate too much during the uprising, just conforming to the will of God. That’s how I am today. I’m just trying to make up my mind, how dare I lose my reputation. I’m really shameless to face my colleagues and people from all walks of life... If you are banned, you will not be able to live or die against the martyrs.”

黎元洪After speaking, before Lu Zhengxiang and others could speak, he walked into the back room.

袁世凯 After becoming emperor, there is an urgent need for leading figures like Li Yuanhong to join in. On December 19, he sent someone to the Lebanese house to declare the title.

The coming person held the "Zhao" in both hands, knelt down in the hall, and shouted: "Please be entrusted!" Li Yuan was furious and disappeared.

Later, another person came to Li Mansion to lobby by Yuan Shikai's order and called him "The Lord".

Li Yuanhong is in a hurry, fingering the stone pillar in the hall and saying: "If you push me any more, I will be killed here! Let me be the prince, I will be killed."

Had to retire. Angrily left.

Yuan Shikai proclaimed himself the emperor and went against him, and he was doomed to fail. And his "appointment of kings and rewards" has also become a laughing stock he left to future generations.
