Don’t be afraid of difficulties, defeat the inner demons - Reading Thoughts of " Red Rock "

Text/Fifth Year (4) Experimental Primary School, Ruian City, Zhejiang Province Ding Zifan

Mother often says that our generation is soaked in sweet water, and they don’t know how to cherish today’s happy life. They should read more movies and books describing revolutionary wars and learn more from revolutionary predecessors. Recently, I finished reading "Red Rock" with great respect.

In "Red Rock", I admire Sister Jiang the most. Shortly after the revolution began, Jiang Jie's husband died. She held back her grief, wiped away her tears, and stood up again, because she knew that the task entrusted by the party to her was not completed yet, and she wanted to sacrifice her family for everyone. In prison, she still wore that blue cheongsam, always facing the enemy with a clean look. When the enemy tortured her, she did not reveal any secrets of the party. When the enemy nailed the bamboo stick into her finger, she said strongly: "The torture is too small. The bamboo stick is made of bamboo . The will of the Communist Party members is steel!" Before she was executed, she still reminded everyone not to cry.

When I read that before Sister Jiang was executed, I calmly put on a red velvet coat and combed her hair as usual... I was completely moved by the spirit of this heroine - what a great revolutionary warrior!

And as for me, when I was a child, I always felt that I was a little girl, very cute, and if I had a small scratch on my hand, I would have to put a band-aid on my mother. When I encountered setbacks and unsatisfactory things, I would always cry, lose my temper at any time, and enjoy a happy life. I felt that these were taken for granted. I have been learning calligraphy since I was a child. My parents originally wanted to cultivate one of my hobbies, but I was afraid of writing calligraphy. If I write more, I would feel tired and lack the perseverance. The same goes for study, and when you encounter some difficulties, you want to seek help. After reading the

book, Jiang Jie's words still echoed in my ears: "Bamboo sticks are made of bamboo, and the will of Communist Party members is steel!" Jiang Jie is always fearless when facing torture and death. I also want to learn from Jiang Jie's revolutionary spirit, be brave to fight, and overcome all difficulties!
