On the afternoon of February 3, four members of the Yangchun Brigade of the Condor Rescue Team encountered a mountain fire on the way back to condolences a difficult party member in Bajia Town, and hurried into the mountain to set up an isolation zone to prevent the mountain fire from spreading further. The full-time fire brigade of the Sanjia town government and local government staff rushed to the scene, and they all put out the fire in time.
At 3 o'clock in the afternoon of the same day, the four members of the Yangchun Brigade of the Condor Rescue Team had just finished their condolences to a difficult party member in Sanjia Town and drove back via National Highway 325. When the vehicle passed the section of Qujiang Village in Sanjia Town, a team member found through the window of the car that thick smoke was coming out of the forest on the north side of , and several mountains and forests were covered by thick smoke . The team members immediately looked for the mountain road and rushed to the smoking position.
The team drove the vehicle into the mountain road for about 300 meters and then found the fire. The wind vent from the fire point was a field covering more than ten acres, and a hoe and a straw hat were left on the field. The hay in the field has been burned out, and the fire shifted to the mountain forest at the underground vent of the field. There were three or four fire spots. From time to time, there were bursts of "cracking" burning in the woods. As they had no tools, the team members got out of the car and cleared the fire belt with bare hands and reported to the competent department for rescue.
After receiving the report, the Sanjia town government and the full-time fire brigade sent people to the scene, and nearby people also rushed to put out the fire. Due to the timely discovery, the wildfire was quickly extinguished at about 5 pm that day. The fields and forests that caught fire at the scene were about 1,000 square meters.
