Michail Katkoff said:
Thanks to years of experience in mobile game development, Savage Game Studios has created a series of globally renowned IPs.
is committed to providing a creative space that is not so cautious in avoiding, but rather eager to embrace and carry out experiments and risks.
On the one hand, we respect the advantages of ample resources available when working in a large studio. On the other hand, we also want to stay small, nimble, and in control.
As for why he joined PlayStation Studios, Michail Katkoff explained:
The reason for this deal is that we believe that PlayStation Studios leadership will respect how we balance the best operations with our vision for success, and they do not Afraid of taking risks.
Combined with the potential use of PlayStation's amazing IP library, Savage Game Studios could better benefit from this support, and everyone said 'why not? ! ’
On behalf of everyone at Savage Game Studios, please allow me to thank PlayStation Studios for the warm invitation. We can’t wait to show you all what we’ve been working on!
Finally, PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst assured fans that - while strengthening mobile efforts, PlayStation will not weaken the existing console platform and the growing PC experience, and Savage is already developing a 3A Action game.
By strengthening our work on mobile gaming, we hope to give more people more ways to experience PlayStation IP and work to reach new audiences who are less familiar with PlayStation games.
Savage Game Studios will join the newly formed PlayStation Studios mobile division, which will be independent of the existing console development operations team and focus on innovative mobile experiences based on existing and new PlayStation IP.
Whether you prefer console, PC, or mobile platforms, please join us in welcoming Savage Game Studios to the PlayStation Studios family.
