Chen Shiju was born in Jingmen City, Hubei Province. He was born in 1909 and was introduced to Shayang County as an apprentice at the age of 16. In 1927, the 18-year-old Chen Shiju returned to his hometown to join the local community. The farmers’ association then went to Wuhan to join the Communist Youth League.
On September 9, 1927, Chen Shiju participated in the Autumn Harvest Uprising. After Sanwan was adapted, in the attic of an ancestral hall on Shuikou Street, Zhixian County, Chairman Mao personally introduced six comrades to join the party. Chen Shiju was one of them.
During the Red Army period, Chen Shiju served as Red Army battalion commander, division chief of staff and other positions. During one battle, Chen Shiju seized a pocket-sized pistol. He asked the gun to be handed over to Lin Biao, the commander of the Red Army. Lin Biao knew that Chairman Mao had returned. Without a pistol protection, this gun was just right, so I decided to give it to Chairman Mao. Chairman Mao took it and looked at it and threw it on the ground.
Lin Biao was puzzled. Chairman Mao disapproved and said: "By the time I use the gun, the Red Army is over." , But because the war was too frequent at that time, the matter has been dragged down until 1946. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Chen Shizhu found that his golden tooth was missing one day. Later, the guards around him voluntarily admitted that he had taken it. Sold for 75 yuan.
Chen Shiju laughed at himself and wrote a poem: "One tooth has been repaired for sixteen years. Three grams of gold, sold for 75 yuan."
General has two wives in his life. The first wife is called Fan Shuqin is a native of Rizhao, Shandong. Her father, Fan Jingtang, joined the Communist Party of China in 1931 and later served as the first party secretary of the Rizhao County Party Committee. Due to the influence of her father, when she was 11 years old, Fan Shuqin followed him to carry out revolutionary propaganda in her hometown.
Since joining the army, Chen Shizhu has been fighting in the North and South. He is more than 30 years old and has not been able to solve his personal problems. His old superior Luo Ronghuan cared about him very much. Later, Chen Shizhu met with Fan Shuqin and impressed with her. Very good, Luo Ronghuan personally helped Chen Shiju match up after knowing it.
Fan Shuqin agreed, and they married in 1941.
Since then, they have been hand in hand for more than 20 years of prosperous years. During the Cultural Revolution, due to many reasons, Chen Shizhu divorced Fan Shuqin, and then he married a former starring Li Zheng, at that time Chen Shizhu is 68 years old and Li Zheng is 28 years old.
After marriage, Li Zheng has been diligent in taking care of Chen Shilu's second half of his life. After the 1990s, Chen Shilu's health was not good, and Li Zheng was busy. In 1995, before Chen Shilu's death, Li Zhengzeng Ask Chen Shiju who he loves most in his life.
