I was very curious when playing "Niwang 1". The protagonist I manipulated, William, was obviously a Western warrior. Why is this game named King? What does King Ren mean?
In fact, when the project was established, the name of "Niwang" was Ghost, and the English name was oni. Later, after the game was restarted, Oni was reorganized into Nioh, which we now know "Niwang".
I want to explain here that Nioh is not in English, but in Japanese, and in Japanese, it is. In addition to being called Wangren, it can generally be called the Two Wangs.
The Two Kings actually refer to the two generals we are familiar with. In " The Romance of the Gods ", both of them are generals of King Zhou of Shang . The names of these two generals are Zheng Lun, and the names of these two generals are Chen Qi. But they were originally two Buddhist gods, holding Vajrayana in their hands. One is called Jimmy Vajra (Rodes), and the other is called Naroyan Qiang (A-shaped). They are the two Vajras in front of the temple and the door gods of Buddhist temples. Hum Ha II will be just an ordinary name. Now we can clearly know that "king man" usually refers to two people. In "Niwang 1", "King Ren" refers to two military generals who are unique to the East and the West, and also refers to the protagonist William and Hattobe Tetsu Hanzo, who is the "King Ren" who was determined by the plot.
The plot once said, "Warrior William killed demons and eliminated demons all the way. No matter where he went, people would hear his name. Because of his bravery, fearlessness and no praise, he was called "King of Ninja".
The reason why Hatbe Tetsuzo is the "kind of kindness" comes from Konka's evaluation of him at the end of the plot: "You are like a "kind of kindness." "There is no clear direction in "The King of Kings", but from the combination of the two, it should refer to the protagonists Ah Hide and Tokuichiro. They collaborated in the plot and were called the famous Toyotomi Hideyoshi in history.
Looking from another perspective, the word "The King of Kings" also means "The King of Kings", which is also the first game title I understood.
