Reporters learned from the press conference that the total operating income and total assets of Sanxiang's top 100 private enterprises in 2022 continued to grow, and both exceeded the trillion yuan mark for the first time.
In 2022, the total operating income of Hunan private enterprises was 1,078.022 billion yuan, an increase of 207.888 billion yuan or 23.89% over the previous year; total assets were 1,113.102 billion yuan, an increase of 158.988 billion yuan or 16.66% over the previous year. The entry threshold for the list increased from 1.746 billion yuan in the previous year to 2.190 billion yuan, exceeding 2 billion yuan for the first time, and the entry threshold hit a record high.
Among them, 22 companies have revenue of more than 10 billion yuan, and 2 companies have revenue of more than 100 billion yuan.
In terms of regional distribution, 66 companies were shortlisted for the top 100 private enterprises in Sanxiang from the Changzhou-Zhuzhou-Tanxiang area, 15 companies were shortlisted from the Dongting Lake area, 12 companies were shortlisted from the Greater Southern Hunan region, and 7 companies were shortlisted from the Greater Xiangxiangxi region. Judging from the distribution of cities and states, Changsha City has the most shortlisted companies, with 53 companies, followed by and Zhuzhou City , with 9 companies. The total operating income, total assets and total after-tax net profit of the shortlisted enterprises in Changsha ranked first in the city and state, of which the total operating income was 696.658 billion yuan, accounting for over 64%; the total assets were 827.298 billion yuan, accounting for over 74%.

The tax contribution rate of the top 100 enterprises has further increased, with the total tax payment reaching 37.531 billion yuan, accounting for 16.71% of the province's total tax revenue; the total number of employed people was 645,100, an increase of 16.13% over the previous year, and large enterprises have a significant role in promoting employment.

Reporters learned from the press conference that since the beginning of this year, Hunan has carried out an in-depth "Ten Thousand Cadres Join Thousands of Enterprises" campaign, organized 47,000 cadres to go deep into 184,000 enterprises to "promote policies, solve problems, and provide excellent services", coordinate and solve 73,000 various problems, and refund and reduce taxes and fees of 100.126 billion yuan.
