Recently, the 1.5 tons/day liquid hydrogen factory project of Anhui Zhongke Haohai Gas Technology Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of Beijing Zhongke Fuhai Cryogenic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongke Fuhai"), completed debugging and put into production in Anhui Province, and successfully produced liquid hydrogen. The output and purity met the design requirements.
The hydrogen liquefier equipment put into production this time is the first domestically produced industrial liquid hydrogen device with production license. It is produced by Zhongke Fuhai (Zhongshan) Cryogenic Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Zhongshan) Cryogenic Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongke Fuhai Equipment Company") in Cuiheng New District, Zhongshan. Zhu Cheng, chairman of Zhongke Fuhai Equipment Company, said that the equipment was successfully debugged and put into production, which solved the long-term problem of domestic liquid hydrogen manufacturing being "stuck" by foreign countries, greatly reduced the cost of hydrogen storage and transportation, and was of great significance to the development of China's hydrogen energy industry.
Creates the first domestically produced liquid hydrogen factory
Zhongke Fuhai is a large-scale low-temperature refrigeration technology industrialization company of the Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is committed to the research and related equipment manufacturing of key technologies such as liquid hydrogen production, storage, transportation and application, and actively promotes the large-scale industrial application of hydrogen energy .
According to reports, the 1.5 tons/day liquid hydrogen plant project that successfully commissioned and put into production this time is the first domestic, civilian, and compliant liquid hydrogen industrialization demonstration project participated in by Zhongke Fuhai. The liquid hydrogen produced is mainly used for low-temperature research, hydrogenation station demonstration projects, research on liquid hydrogen storage and transportation, aerospace needs, research and development of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and research and development of liquid hydrogen related equipment. After the project is put into operation, it will pioneer a domestically produced liquid hydrogen factory and provide basic support for the later promotion of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and hydrogenation stations, as well as the research and development of liquid hydrogen-related equipment.

The core equipment of the liquid hydrogen plant is the hydrogen liquefier equipment, which is produced and provided by Zhongke Fuhai Equipment Co., Ltd. located in Cuiheng New District, Zhongshan. Zhongke Fuhai Equipment Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of Zhongke Fuhai. It is currently the only large-scale cryogenic equipment manufacturing company in China with completely independent intellectual property rights.
The company’s first 1.5-ton large-scale hydrogen liquefaction device has been developed since 2017 and was finally successfully produced and launched in Cuiheng New District, Zhongshan. It is worth noting that in January 2022, the company's 1.5-ton hydrogen liquefier was successfully exported to Canada, becoming the first domestic hydrogen liquefaction export product.
The hydrogen energy industry in Cuiheng New District is accelerating its cluster development
Zhongke Fuhai is actively engaged in the comprehensive development and utilization of industrial by-product hydrogen resources, comprehensive utilization of renewable energy hydrogen production and energy storage, and liquid hydrogen storage and transportation hydrogenation stations and other hydrogen energy infrastructure construction fields, providing specific solutions for the construction of hydrogen energy supply systems and refueling networks. In addition to deploying Zhongke Fuhai Equipment Company, in 2022, Zhongke Fuhai will also deploy the Zhongshan Triangle Town Gas Island Project in Sanjiao Town, Zhongshan City.
This project is the first comprehensive gas island in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to cover helium, hydrogen energy, electronic special gas and air separation units. Upon completion, it will become the first domestic helium supply base in the Greater Bay Area and the first hydrogen energy supply base in Zhongshan City. It can solve the hydrogen supply problem in Zhongshan City and radiate to meet the hydrogen energy supply needs of surrounding areas.
Anhui Zhongke Haohai Gas Technology Co., Ltd.’s 1.5 tons/day liquid hydrogen plant project has been commissioned and put into operation, and successfully produced liquid hydrogen.
In accordance with the "Zhongshan Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Plan (2022-2025)", Zhongshan City has established a hydrogen energy industry layout of "one core and two belts", "one core" refers to Cuiheng New District, with the east area (Ma'an Island) as the core.
Currently, Cuiheng New District has taken the lead in establishing Zhongshan City’s first hydrogen energy industry technology alliance and initiated the construction of a clean energy and intelligent equipment industrial park. Driven by industry leaders such as Zhongke Fuhai, the hydrogen energy industry in Cuiheng New District is expected to further develop.
