htmlOn the afternoon of November 11, the 13th National Transportation Industry Vocational Skills Competition was in full swing. After the competition, all participants of the Highway Toll and Monitoring Competition collectively visited the Sichuan-Tibet Highway Museum located on the first floor of the Houxue Building of Sichuan Transportation Vocational and Technical College.
Under the guidance of the tour guide, the contestants visited six sections: preface hall, historical choice, long song of the sky road, the torch, the tail hall, and the cultural and creative zone. They listened to the arduous construction background and historical significance of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, watched the audio and video materials, new and old photos, road construction tools, books, pictorials, flags and other precious historical materials over the past 70 years of construction of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, and deeply understood the tragic stories of the construction of many Sichuan-Tibet Highways, and understood the timeless connotation of the "two roads" spirit and the contemporary value of time and space.
After the visit, Li Tian, the toll station leader of China Railway Construction Sichuan Jianpu Expressway Co., Ltd., was deeply moved: "We were shocked by the great contributions made by our ancestors. They built Sichuan-Tibet and Qinghai-Tibet highways on the roof of the forbidden zone of human life in an extremely difficult environment, creating a miracle of world highway construction!"
Other contestants also said: "The Sichuan-Tibet Highway has completely changed the backward transportation conditions along the route, giving wings to the rise of Tibet's culture and economy." "The long-lasting 'two roads' spirit is the 'guitar light' for our traffic people, and will inspire us to move forward on the road to accelerating the construction of a strong transportation country!"
Next to the "Road Soul" sculpture in front of the museum, all the contestants took a group photo.
