On the evening of October 25, 2022, Jiangling Auto announced its third quarter report for 2022. The report shows that Jiangling Auto's revenue in the third quarter of 2022 was 7.809 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.08%, and net profit was 265 million yuan, and increased by 266.58% year-on-year; revenue in the first three quarters of 2022 was 22.032 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 13.57%, and net profit was 717 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50.21%.
It is worth noting that although the net profit increased in the first three quarters of 2022, Jiangling Auto's net operating cash flow during the same period was -2.223 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.769 billion yuan from the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 389.83%. In response, Jiangling Auto said that it was mainly due to the decrease in cash received from the sales of goods.
Public information shows that in the first three quarters of 2022, Jiangling Auto sold a total of 207,671 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 16.63%. Among them, there were 54,222 light passengers, a year-on-year decrease of 28.48%; 50,538 trucks, a year-on-year decrease of 42.63%; 49,115 pickup trucks, a year-on-year increase of 2.79%; and 53,796 SUV models, a year-on-year increase of 43.87%.
In fact, in the first three quarters of 2022, the growth of Jiangling Auto's net profit was not driven by operations, but mainly due to the increase in profits brought about by the disposal of land and above-ground buildings in Qingyunpu factory.
