Not only that, the storage capacity of Zhengzhou Airport's cargo warehouses reached its peak in August, and the current timelines for Zhengzhou's routes to North America have been greatly delayed.

1. The electronic consumer season is approaching, and international freight will continue to be full

In the past, goods sent to the United States by air would arrive at the destination within 3 days to complete the receipt. But at present, it takes about 3 days to arrange warehouses in Zhengzhou, and we can only do our best to ensure that the goods arrive within a week.

According to multiple sources,This month, a number of well-known consumer electronics manufacturers’ new products were launched on the market, catalysing the competition for cross-border air logistics resources and raising market prices. A clear silhouette is the "explosion" of the cargo warehouse at Zhengzhou Airport.

"Since the second half of this year, the airport cargo warehouse has been in a state of operation with full warehousing, and its cargo throughput has more than doubled than in previous years." A person in charge of Zhengzhou Airport Cargo Company revealed that cargo shipping capacity has been increasing, and some hot spots The cargo air line has been upgraded from 3 to 5 flights per week. According to the news released by Henan Airport Group, Zhengzhou Airport completed a total cargo throughput of 440,000 tons in the first eight months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 21%. Why does the price of cross-border air freight in Zhengzhou continue to rise? Except for the centralized shipment of electronic consumer goods, the industry's interpretation of this phenomenon is basically the same.

At a level, due to the domestic epidemic, the air capacity of Shanghai, Guangzhou, Qingdao and other places is limited, and Zhengzhou's cross-border route resources and capacity resources are relatively dominant. As a result, the overflow of cargo from other provinces flows to Zhengzhou in large numbers. At the same time, Zhengzhou is connected. There are a large number of high value-added electronic products in the foreign air waybills, which directly pushes up the freight bid. Among them, they include Sony, , HP, etc.

However, due to the excessive export volume and the upgrade of port epidemic prevention by many foreign countries, the Chinese-style epidemic prevention has become a bright spot in the world, attracting a large number of overseas manufacturing orders to domestic.

Due to container loading and unloading and return, the shipping market has severely blocked, and the competition for resources in the cross-border air transportation market has intensified.

When will the air freight price have a callback?

"One freighter transports millions of tons of one-way load, and one freight aircraft one-way The load is only about 100 tons. He believes that the antidote to the extremely high air freight price should be the first solution to the shipping capacity.

Another good news is that the Zhengzhou Airport North Cargo Area project has been working overtime to advance. The North Cargo Area Project is an important part of the third phase of Zhengzhou Airport. It mainly serves the development of large aviation logistics companies in Zhengzhou and meets their needs to strengthen their hub functions or set up regional distribution centers and distribution centers. The designed annual cargo and mail guarantee capacity of the North Cargo Area Project is 600,000 tons, and the total investment is about 4.6 billion yuan.

By then, Zhengzhou Airport’s cargo terminal will have an area of ​​180,000 square meters, 25 cargo slots, and an annual cargo and mail guarantee capacity of 1.1 million tons. This will complement the shortcomings of Zhengzhou Airport’s cargo facilities, optimize the cargo development environment, and create an international air cargo hub. It is of great significance.
