Recently, Hurun Research Institute released the 2022 Hurun Rich List. The list shows that a total of 1,305 entrepreneurs with personal wealth of more than 5 billion yuan were on the list this year, 160 fewer than last year.
The total wealth of entrepreneurs on the list was 24.5 trillion yuan, a decrease of 18% from last year; the number of entrepreneurs with a total of 100 billion yuan was 34, an decrease of 11 compared with last year.
This is the fifth time that the total number of people on the rich list has decreased in 24 years, and it is also the largest number of people in history. In terms of
ranking, founder of Nongfu Spring , Zhong Shanshan became the richest man in China for the second time with a fortune of 455 billion yuan; ByteDance Zhang Yiming ranked second with 245 billion yuan; Zeng Yuqun, 54, of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd., ranked third with 230 billion yuan.
