On November 20, the 2022 annual academic conference of Jiangsu Province’s Key Laboratory of Structural and Functional Metal Composites was held in Nanjing. The meeting adjusted the members of the academic committee and elected Jiang Jianqing as the director of the new academic committee, and Li Zhengxian as the deputy director. Miao Weigang, member of the Academic Committee and technical consultant of Jiangsu Xingda Company, Zhou Zhisong, member of the Academic Committee and deputy general manager, Dai Ning, sales director of Europe, and Ni Zifei, R&D director, attended the meeting. Miao Weigang first delivered a welcome speech; Dai Ning introduced the overall overview of the company's production and operation; Zhou Zhisong reported on the laboratory work from 2020 to 2022 based on five aspects of the industry strategic needs of laboratory construction, major scientific research results, innovative talent training results, operation management innovation points and subsequent research directions. Subsequently, Zhou Zhisong and Zhou Jie, a simulation engineer at the Technology Center, respectively gave academic reports on "Study on the Influencing Factors of Steel Cord Bending Stiffness" and "Research and Simulation Analysis of Warpage Problems in Composite Forming of Tire Steel Cords".
