"Trillion Club" refers to cities in my country whose GDP reaches or exceeds one trillion yuan or more. As of 2021, China's cities with a GDP trillion level or above have increased to 24. The "trillion" club cities headed by Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are also a microcosm of my country's urban economic development.
It can be seen from the distribution map of my country's trillion-dollar club cities that my country's cities with a trillion GDP level are mainly concentrated in the eastern coastal areas , while the cities in the central and western parts of the list are all provincial capitals or municipalities directly under the central government. Many ordinary prefecture-level cities in the eastern coastal region have also joined the trillion-dollar club cities in recent years. The most densely populated areas are undoubtedly the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. In the next few years, the number of trillion-dollar club cities in the Yangtze River Delta will continue to increase. So across the country, which cities are the seed players to enter the trillion-dollar club cities?
According to the 2021 ranking of China's top 100 cities by GDP, to enter the trillion-dollar club within five years, the GDP in 2021 must reach more than 600 billion yuan to have a chance. There are 18 cities across the country that meet this condition, from Changzhou City in Jiangsu Province to Taizhou City in Jiangsu Province. Each of these cities is a leader and the most promising city to enter the trillion-dollar club within five years. Dividing these cities into three gradients, we found that some cities will reach the trillion-dollar GDP level in less than five years, or even within three years.
The first gradient (more than 800 billion): Changzhou , Yantai , Tangshan , Xuzhou

The second gradient (more than 700 billion): Dalian , Wenzhou , Shenyang, Kunming, Changchun, Xiamen , Weifang
There are already seven cities in my country whose GDP has exceeded 700 billion.
