Bos Group International will be responsible for operating the licensed product line, starting with wholesale distribution of the 2023 spring and summer collection, and then designing, producing and distributing two collections per year.
Amsterdam, December 19, 2022 – Amsterdam-based fashion brand Scotch & Soda and licensing company Bos Group International have announced a partnership to design, produce and distribute a range of footwear for men, women and children through a global agreement.
Starting from December 2022, Bos Group International will be responsible for the global delivery of the Scotch & Soda 2023 spring and summer series, as well as the development and shipment of the 2023 autumn and winter series. During each year of the contract, the licensing company will develop and distribute spring, summer and fall/winter Scotch & Soda footwear collections.
Bos Group International, a family-owned company based in Werth, the Netherlands, that has been involved in the footwear business since 1982, will take over Scotch & Soda's footwear licensing business after the expiration of the trademark licensing agreement between Scotch & Soda and its former licensing partner HS Footwear GmbH (part of Osnabrück's Hamm Group). Peter Frericks from Bos Group Footwear B.V. will serve as global sales director and brand manager for Scotch & Soda.
Bos Group International will continue to inject Scotch & Soda’s brand DNA into each season’s collections, demonstrating the brand’s core identity derived from the spirit of Amsterdam. In order to echo Scotch & Soda's brand identity, footwear products will convey a sense of freedom with iconic design elements, and highlight style and interest with novel and unique details and color creativity, attracting both classic lovers and trendy people.
The Scotch & Soda shoe product line, which was born in 2018, is divided into spring, summer and autumn and winter series. It launches an average of 15 women's shoes, 10 men's shoes and 5 children's shoes each season, including best-selling sports shoes Plakka, Vivex and Celest. Children's shoes are priced from 90 euros to 110 euros, and adult shoes are priced from 110 euros to 299 euros (a pair of leather boots).
