According to foreign media SiliconHills, RVshare in the United States completed a $100 million financing, led by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and participated in the investment by Tritium Partners. The funds obtained in this round of financing will be used by the company to expand its business.

In the travel market, RV rental is a niche business, but there are about 15 million RVs in the United States, of which RVs are idle for about 50 weeks each year. At the same time, 66% of Americans are eager to drive a motorhome to travel, but do not have enough funds to buy a motorhome.
RVshare is a P2P RV rental platform. The platform has 100,000 RV models, including travel trailers, luxury RVs and truck campers. In addition to satisfying travelers' dreams of driving out, RVshare can also help motorhome owners find people who want to rent a motorhome. In addition to providing RV rental, RVshare also provides users with free all-weather roadside assistance and insurance services. So far, RVshare's bookings have increased by 123% year-on-year compared to 2019.
Joel Clark stated that RVshare is targeting vacation home rental platform HomeAway, imitating its "transportation + accommodation" business model. RVshare's Austin competitor Outdoorsy has raised a total of $75.1 million in financing and has over 200,000 registered users. On the Outdoorsy platform, the rental price of the RV is set by the owner of the RV, and the platform extracts about 10% of the service fee.
