Mei Lanfang

Mu Guiying "Mu Guiying Takes Command"
This play is a Henan Henan Opera of the same name transplanted for the 10th anniversary of the National Day after Mei Lanfang returned to the traditional play and stopped rehearsing new plays.
Mu Guiying is a character in Xiong Damu’s novel "Zhi Biography of the Northern Song Dynasty" (also known as "The Story of Yang Family Generals" and "The Romance of Yang Family Generals") and Ji Zhenlun’s novel "The Romance of Yang Family Mansion" in the Ming Dynasty. The novel was adapted into drama and TV series, and Mu Guiying became a household name. Mu Guiying was originally the daughter of Mu Kezhai Mu Yu. She was excellent in martial arts, wit and brave. Legend has it that a goddess taught the art of flying swords with arrows. Because of the battle with Yang Zongbao before the battle, Mu Guiying captured Zongbao alive and recruited him to marry him.
