According to China Film Association , film artist, principle director of the China Film Association, former deputy director of Bayi Film Studio , and national first-class screenwriter Lu Zhuguo died of illness in Beijing at 1:00 on December 1 at the age of 94.
1953, Lu Zhuguo published the novel "Shangganling". Many people understand that the Battle of Shangganling began with the movie "Shangganling", and the plot in the movie originated from his book "Shangganling". Lu Zhuguo, who was only 24 years old at the time, completed the novel in the rain of bullets in Shangganling. In his 80s, he recalled those desperate battles again, and still vividly remembered them.
In 1974, he served as the screenwriter of the drama movie "The Shining Red Star", which is collectively adapted from the novel "The Childhood of Fighting" created by Li Xintian.
1997, Lu Zhuguo won the Chinese Film Golden Rooster Award for Best Screenwriter for "The Great Advance: Sweeping the Southwest".
In 2005, he served as the screenwriter of the war movie " on the Taihang Mountain " and was shortlisted for the 25th Chinese Film Golden Rooster Award Best Screenwriter Award, and won the 12th China Film Huabiao Award Outstanding Screenwriter Award.
