On May 8, 1995, Teresa Teng passed away suddenly in Chiang Mai, Thailand, at the age of 42. Teresa Teng enjoyed a high reputation during her lifetime, and her passing shocked countless people. Teresa Teng’s family finally chose to bury Teresa Teng in the beautiful Jinbaoshan Cemetery in Taipei, and named it after the character Yun in her real name, and built Yunyuan for the world. Fans come here anytime to reminisce and mourn.

The reason why the owner of the cemetery charged a dollar symbolically was because of Teresa Teng's fame. Indeed, after Teresa Teng's death, fans who came to pay homage have been in an endless stream, and many worshippers come every day.
