Recently, I watched a movie "Azalea in the Dream" on Sohu. This movie uses science fiction to tell the love story of her parents' generation.
I thought most of the movies that tell love stories would focus on telling love stories, but I didn’t expect that this movie also put a lot of effort into science fiction performance. The passage that I remember very deeply is the beginning of the universe.

The gorgeous universe and Jiliwala alien language have a sci-fi feel.
At that time, I thought, hey, this alien language is so interesting, I really can’t understand a word! I also followed suit and said something randomly.
When the subtitles slowly came out, I realized that this is actually a language, it is the Seidk language.
Out of curiosity, I went to Baidu. Sure enough, there are really Sidek tribes, and I was surprised that someone really could speak such mysterious language.

"If civilization wants us to bow our heads, then I will let you see the pride of barbarism."
This is a classic line from the movie "Seedke Barre" adapted from the Wushe incident.
In the Wushe area where the Seidk people have lived for generations, it has accumulated anger towards the Japanese colonists for nearly 35 years. This anger eventually broke out in 1930, and the Seidk people launched an uprising.
After the uprising broke out, Mona Ludao led his tribe to cut off the telephone line of Wushe, destroying local transportation facilities, and giving the Japanese a heavy blow. The rebels of the Seedks became a real warrior with their unique custom - " to make grass " and let the enemy see their rainbow bridge.
So what is "showing a grass"? This is an ancient custom of the indigenous ethnic groups in Taiwan, which is to kill people from other ethnic groups by raids. The Seidk people believe that only by completing the "bringing" can they become a true Seidk brave man. The "Rainbow Bridge" is the faith of the Seidk tribe and the land of ancestral spirits to be protected. The indigenous people believe that only real warriors can walk onto the Rainbow Bridge and meet their ancestors after death.
The uprising was very smooth at the beginning, but later it was suppressed by military and police from all over the country. The Saidek tribe suffered heavy losses, and the number of people who died or committed suicide The proportion of the population in the Champa was relatively large, almost extermination. The leader Mona Ludao committed suicide and died for his country. The survivors of the Sixth Seidek Society were only 298.
The uprising of the Seidks failed, but they also won. They protected their faith in nature and ancestors, defended the dignity of the tribe, experienced the baptism of the struggle against the enemy, and became the real Sedek warriors.
This is the Seidk people, a nation full of wisdom and courage.
The director of "Azalea in the Dream" is Taiwanese. I think "putting Seidek language on the screen" is not only because Seidek language conforms to the mysterious temperament of the universe, but also the director's pride for the warriors and nations in his hometown, and a kind of fearless and courageous tribute to the Seidek nation's resistance to power.
Finally, I highly recommend you to watch these two movies and learn more about this heroic nation far away from the strait!
