After the TV series " Awakening Era " was broadcast, Chen Yannian and Chen Qiaonian's spirit of continuing for the revolution infected countless young people. Recently, at the establishment ceremony of the drama "Where Are Not Green Mountains", the "Yan Qiao Brothers" played by Shanghai Normal University student appeared in Yuyangli , taking everyone through time and space, back to the past, and relive the little stories of the two martyrs Chen Yannian and Chen Qiaonian when they were in Shanghai. The play is based on the growth experience of the Yanqiao brothers (Chen Yannian, Chen Qiaonian) in Huangpu , focusing on the spirit of youth and positive youth. It not only explores the mental journey of Chinese youth in contact, learning and establishing a Marxist worldview, but also focuses on the theme of "Youth determination, faith transformation, abandoning oneself to go against the flow, and dedicating oneself to the country". Relying on their little-known and emotionally touching stories, it promotes the heroic deeds of revolutionary sages who are loyal to the Party, have the people in mind, live up to youth, and practice their original aspirations. In order to better restore the real situation of that year, the team conducted many research on Xinyuyangli and Longhua Martyrs Cemetery before creation, and repeatedly studied documents, historical materials, etc.; when creating the script, it focused on integrating red resources such as Xinyuyangli and Huangpu elements, and the details of the plot showed Shanghai Huangpu many times; combined with expert opinions and suggestions, the script was constantly polished. We strive to better restore the true situation of that year and tell a good red story. A poster carefully designed for the play was also released at the
ceremony. It is understood that the Huangpu Youth League District Committee and the Youth League Committee of Shanghai Normal University jointly created it, aiming to guide contemporary young people to learn from young role models, establish correct values, and inspire the mission of the times to make achievements. During the process of advancing this drama, it received support from many parties. Shanghai Normal University lists drama rehearsals as one of the teaching contents, and provides good management and service to the participating teachers and students. The Huangpu Youth League District Committee commissioned the main creative team to promote script creation, drama production, etc. The Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Propaganda Department of the Huangpu District Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Huangpu District Culture and Tourism Bureau, the Huangpu District Greening and Municipal Appearance Management Bureau and other units provide strong support for the publicity and performance venues of this drama. The Party History Research Office of the Huangpu District Committee of the Communist Party of China and several party history experts at the municipal and district levels held a script consultation meeting to discuss and exchange many times on the script, and reviewed the historical rigor of the script and the content of the script.
The drama is currently promoting script rehearsal in an orderly manner and will hold its first round of performances at the Magnolia Theater at the end of October.
