As the National Day is approaching, the stage play "Sky Fire Shines in Langeryu" carefully choreographed in Liucun Town, Changping District, which lasted half a year, was officially staged. The drama is the first self-made drama in Liucun Town in recent years. It is adapted from real historical figures and events. Through the description of Qiu Zhiting, a villager in Langeryu Village, during his youth, it shows the process of sowing and burning revolutionary sparks in western Beijing.
Liucun and Town are the red hot land of revolution, and countless touching red stories have been born here. In the work, Qiu Zhiting's uncle Cui Xianfang is an underground party member active in the western part of Beijing. With the status of a teacher as a cover, he spreads revolutionary ideas among the young people in Langeryu Village. Qiu Zhiting's young heart has sown the seeds of communism early.
After that, under the influence of Wang Chunyi, a patriotic student at Beiping , Qiu Zhiting established the belief that "the rise and fall of the country is responsible for ". Later, the bad news of Cui Xianfang being arrested and imprisoned and her father being killed by the reactionaries made Qiu Zhiting feel the dark rule of the reactionaries more deeply. In the end, the arrival of the Deng Hua detachment of the Eighth Route Army completely ignited Qiu Zhiting's revolutionary passion for joining the army and going to the front line. So, the nineteen-year-old Qiu Zhiting walked out of the mountains for the first time and took solid steps towards Yan'an .
The actors in this play are all cadres and masses in Liucun Town. The people of Liucun tell the story of Liucun Village, which is of great significance for inheriting the red gene of Liucun Village and continuing the red bloodline.
