Ni Kuang
Ni Kuang, formerly known as Ni Cong, also named Yi Ming, was born in Shanghai on May 30, 1935, and his native place is Ningbo, Zhejiang. He, Jin Yong, , Huang Zhan and Cai Lam are known as the "Four Great Talents in Hong Kong".
Ni Kuang went to Hong Kong in 1957 and worked as a worker, proofreader, and editor. He became a self-taught writer and became a professional writer. He writes in a wide range of genres, and his novels include detective, science fiction, gods and monsters, martial arts, and romance. He once wrote serials for 12 newspapers at the same time.
In 1962, with the encouragement of Jin Yong, Ni Kuang began to write novels under the pen name "Wesley". The first novel was titled " Diamond Flower " and was serialized in the supplement of "Ming Pao". Starting from the fourth novel " Blue Blooded ", the Wesley series of novels officially became a science fiction series.
Ni Kuang's martial arts novels are represented by " Six Finger Qin Demon ", which has a unique imagination. He also ghostwrote the serialization of " Tian Long Ba Bu " while Jin Yong was abroad.
In the late 1960s, when martial arts films became popular, Ni Kuang turned to script writing. In more than ten years, he has written hundreds of scripts. In 1993, the TVB TV series "Yuan Zhenxia" adapted from Ni Kuang's science fiction adventure series "Yuan Zhenxia" series was broadcast. Because the drama promoted the on-screen cooperation between Li Jiaxin and the handsome couple Michelle Reis, it is regarded as the history of TVB 's classic.
