This cheating case of the National Unified Legal Qualification Examination investigated by the Wuhan Net Security in Hubei Province was sentenced on July 28 this year, and all seven people involved were held criminally responsible.

In the National Unified Legal Vocational Qualification Examination held in October 2021, 5 candidates at a college in Yongzhou, Hunan had highly similar answers. After technical verification by the relevant departments of the Ministry of Justice, 5 candidates were suspected of cheating in the exam.
On November 16, 2021, the Ministry of Justice transferred relevant clues to Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau through the Ministry of Public Security.

Wuhan Public Security Network Security Department took quick action after receiving the clue and found out that these five candidates were registered by an education and culture company in Hongshan District, Wuhan City. The company has a major suspicion of cheating in organized exams!
Through in-depth operation and meticulous investigation, the police found that the company signed a training agreement for the national unified legal professional qualification examination with the five candidates, promising to train the candidates. "All the money will be refunded if the exam is not passed within two years", and a total of 505,000 yuan was charged.

According to existing clues, the network security department tracked along the line and found out that Yin, the legal representative of the education and culture company, had contact with Lei from a college in Yongzhou, and the two parties had large amounts of financial transactions.
What is interesting is that Lei is the invigilator of the test site in 2021.
After in-depth investigation, on November 26, 2021, the public security organs at the municipal and district levels of Wuhan jointly carried out centralized collection of networks, arresting Yin, Lei and six others.
On December 8 of the same year, the police arrested another person involved in the case, Wang.

After interrogation, it was found that in order to obtain illegal benefits, this education and culture company has published various "exam packaged" information on the Internet many times.
Since March 2021, Yin has arranged for the company to register 5 candidates to a college in Yongzhou, organize company employees, and work with technicians and faculty and staff of a college in Yongzhou to install cheating tools in the examination room in advance, rent a house on campus as a cheating operation room, and remotely control the candidates to use a computer to cheat and answer questions.
They also told the candidates:
"Don't listen to the mouse during the exam, just wait."
Court sentenced
7 On July 28, the first instance judgment: Yin was convicted of organizing cheating for exams and sentenced to to 25 years in prison and fined 20,000 yuan; Lei was convicted of organizing cheating for exams and sentenced to 4 years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan.
The other five defendants were also sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment ranging from 1 year to 2 years and 6 months respectively. At present, the judgment has taken effect.
