Hand-drawn long scrolls, singing red songs, making theme construction... Yesterday (September 30), the children of Songjiang Fangta Kindergarten held a variety of activities to celebrate the National Day.
Early in the morning, the children in festive costumes started to work under the guidance of the teacher. On the side of the playground, a scroll about 10 meters long spread out. The children held their brushes and became young painters attentively. After a while, the white scroll became colorful, and the "Happy Birthday of the Motherland" in the center was particularly eye-catching. In the classroom, children who like to sing waved the little red flag with full spirit and expressed their sincere blessings to the motherland with their tender singing. In the construction area, the children transform into little architects. Some carry materials, some are responsible for tying ropes, and some are responsible for building... Lin Muchen, a child in the big (3) class, built the Great Wall with his friends.
A solemn flag-raising ceremony was also held on the same day. Children from the senior class introduced the motherland they knew in the speech session under the national flag. During the subsequent teacher-student interaction session, the children rushed to send blessings to motherland. Dai Yanxi from Class 1 (1) said: "I hope that motherland will become more and more beautiful." According to Wang Yu, the principal of Fangta Kindergarten, the kindergarten organizes National Day celebrations every year, "not just to let children experience the festive atmosphere, but also an important opportunity for patriotic education."
