Public information shows that Wang Lefu, male, was born in Ding'an County, Hainan Province in August 1941. He joined the Communist Party of China in July 1964. After graduating from Sun Yat-sen University in July 1965, he stayed at the school and worked as a teacher in the Marxism-Leninism Teaching and Research Section. Associate professor and deputy director of the Department of Philosophy, professor and director of the Department of Political Science and Administration, dean of the School of Law and Political Science, director of the Administrative Management Research Center of Sun Yat-sen University, a key research base for humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, and dean of the School of Politics and Public Affairs Management, Zhongshan Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee and Deputy Director of the School Committee. He retired in September 2007 and enjoyed the special government allowance of the State Council. In July 2021, he was awarded the commemorative medal of "50 Years of Glorious Service in the Party".
Wang Lefu is a famous public administration scholar in my country and an important pioneer in the construction and development of the discipline of public administration in China. His main research fields are public administration and leadership. He is the author of "Administrative Management" and "Leadership: Theory and Practice" and Methods", "Research on Modernization of Government Management", etc. He has served as Chairman of the Public Administration Discipline Teaching Steering Committee for Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, Deputy Chairman of the National Public Administration Professional Degree (MPA) Education Steering Committee, Member of the Social Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, and the Public Administration Discipline Evaluation Group of the Fifth State Council Degree Committee.
