Three schools in Xianning were rated as the National School for the Inheritance of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture in Primary and Secondary Schools

In order to integrate excellent Chinese traditional culture into the whole process of school sports and aesthetic education , leading young students to inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture, absorb Chinese wisdom, and promote the Chinese spirit. Value, the Ministry of Education launched this selection activity, and inheritance projects include folk music, folk art, folk dance, drama, opera, folk art, calligraphy (seal cutting), traditional handicrafts, and traditional national sports. After school declaration, provincial education administrative department recommendation, and expert selection, the Ministry of Education identified 1,885 schools as the third batch of schools for the inheritance of Chinese outstanding traditional culture in primary and secondary schools across the country.
