As the exam preparation bell rang, the candidates entered the examination room one after another after being inspected by the invigilator, preparing for the first geography test in the second grade of junior high school.
Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Lai Huizhen, and municipal leaders Dong Deshun and Zhao Chaoer investigated the opening of the high school entrance examination, focusing on the examination room environment, invigilator management and security, and provided guidance.
It is understood that this year’s high school entrance examination will be held at two test centers, Enping No. 1 Middle School and Enping Huanggang Experimental Middle School, from the 26th to the 28th. On the morning of the 26th, the academic proficiency examinations in geography and biology subjects for the second grade will be held. From the afternoon of the 26th, the exams for Chinese, mathematics, ethics and law, physics, English, chemistry and history will be conducted for the third grade. This year, a total of 4,887 people applied for the second grade of junior high school entrance examination, an increase of 191 over last year, and a total of 4,617 people applied for the third grade of junior high school, an increase of 359 over last year. The city has arranged a total of 340 invigilators and 196 staff to ensure that the high school entrance examination can proceed smoothly.
