"Gunpowder Milkshake" stills
Sina Entertainment News on May 6, Beijing time, Netflix has won the US distribution rights of the female-led action thriller "Gunpowder Milkshake", and the sequel is also in early operation middle.
Starring Karen Gillan, Lena Headey, Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett, Carla Gugino, Chloe Coleman, Nawalt Papuchado (The Big Bad Wolf "26 New Ways to Die"), tells the story of three generations of female killers who, in one night, try to stop the vicious cycle of violence that lingers in their lives.
The story focuses on a mother-daughter killer: Gillan's Sam is abandoned at age 12 by Heidi's mother, Scarlet, an elite killer who was working for the crime syndicate The Firm, but for some reason Forced to abandon her daughter. After 15 years, Sam has become a top killer like his mother, using her "talent" to perform various dangerous tasks for The Firm, clearing obstacles, and she is both efficient and loyal to The Firm.
But when a high-stakes mission goes awry, Sam must choose between allegiance to The Firm and protecting an innocent 8-year-old girl (Coleman).
