AMD A new AM5 platform supporting Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 series processors is about to be launched. Many manufacturers have previously disclosed high-end X670/670E chipset motherboards that support DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0 connections. Now, someone has released internal spy photos of the suspected board manufacturer on social media, revealing the mainstream B650 "Extreme" chipset that can bring PCIe 5.0 support to GPU and SSD.

At first, it was only known that the X670 chipset would have an Extreme version with an "E" suffix, but the latest spy photos have made it clear that the red team will also bring an "Extreme" option to the mainstream B650 family.
With the X670E/B650E chipset, the motherboard provides simultaneous PCIe 5.0 connectivity for the GPU and M.2 NVMe SSD. As for more details, please wait patiently for AMD’s official announcement in a few hours.
