At the I/O developer conference held a few months ago, Google previewed the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro models. The official news confirmed by is that these two models will be equipped with second-generation Tensor chips. After the real machine spy photos have been exposed one after another, the hands-on videos of these two models have also been exposed recently.
anchor Louis used calipers to measure the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro models. The dimensions of the Pixel 6 Pro are 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm, while the dimensions of the Pixel 7 Pro are basically the same, except that the width is narrowed to 73.2mm and the thickness is reduced by 0.1mm. However, the thickness in the camera area is the same as the previous generation, 11.5 mm. The Pixel 7 is shorter and narrower than the Pixel 6. The Pixel 6 is 158.6mm long and 14.9mm thick, but the Pixel 7 is 13.2mm thick.
The Pixel 7 Pro's edge display appears to be less aggressively tapered, and its camera strip and chassis have a polished finish, while the one on the Pixel 7 has more of an anodized aluminum look. We also noticed that these models don't have a dual-tone finish like the Pixel 6 series. Maybe that's because they're prototype hardware.
According to previous rumors, Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will be available for pre-order on October 6 and will be generally available on October 13.
