For people today, how to reinstall the system is not difficult, and many methods can be found online, but for some novices, it is not easy to install a reliable system, and it will be easy to get into a pitfall. So how to reinstall the system for novice is more reliable and simple? Here is to teach you how to reinstall the system suitable for beginners.
Method/step:
Method 1: Use the micrope tool to create a U disk installation system. The specific operation can be divided into three major steps, namely, to create a startup disk - download a mirror - enter the PE installation system. The specific steps are as follows:
Make boot disk :
1, download and install the micro PE toolbox to the USB disk (this process will format the USB disk, and the USB disk data will be cleared).
. Just select [exFAT] in this format.
Explanation: FAT32 type (single partition cannot exceed 32G, single file cannot exceed 4G) exFAT, NTFS type (the computer on old motherboard may not recognize the USB disk)
3, just wait for the installation to be completed.
Download the system image and put it into the startup disk
1, After entering the MSDN website, click [Operating System] to select the system image to be installed, and copy and paste the [ed2k] download code into Thunder to download.
2. Put the downloaded ISO image file into the [Startup USB drive]. (It is prohibited to be placed in EFI disk)
boot into the PE system to install
1, insert the boot disk into the computer and restart, and set the U disk to enter the PE system as the first startup item. (Before entering the PE system, you need to know the shortcut keys for each motherboard to enter the Bios interface)
2. If it is an old motherboard, take Dell notebook as an example, then press [F12] when you turn on the computer.
3. There is no graphical interface in Bios of this old version of notebook. It is recommended to use Legacy as the boot. (The boot partition method corresponding to boot must be correct, otherwise the computer will not recognize the U boot disk, resulting in the inability to enter the PE interface) The startup method of
boot is divided into Legacy and UEFI boot, and you can select according to the structure of the data stored in the figure below.
4. Click to enter [Enter Set up] to enter the advanced settings, and set the USB drive to the first startup item. (No matter what boot method, Secure Boot# safe mode must be turned off, otherwise the boot disk will not be recognized)
5. After setting the options for Bios to enter the PE interface, press [F10] to save the settings, and then press [ESC] to exit.
6. In the PE system, you need to partition the disk first, open the desktop [ partition tool], and make common preferences for computer disk C/D/E/F.
PS: The disk boot format here is the Mbr format corresponding to the data type Legacy explained above)
7. Next is the partition, as follows:
(1) Windows installation folder #Select the system image you just downloaded in the U disk.
(2) Boot drive # (because the Legacy boot is set by this notebook, the disk type is Mbr format), just select Save to the [C] disk.
If it is UEFI boot, you need to create another disk with logical partition (esp) about 200-300Mb.
(3) The location of the installation disk # is which disk to install the system image to the computer. It is generally the default [C] disk (system disk).
8. If the partition format of UEFI boot is GUID, you need to create a logical partition (Esp) next to the C disk (Esp), and then save the boot driver to (local disk Z). Just change the steps (2), as shown in the following figure.
9. Remember to align 4k sectors or 2048 (usually default these two options). PS: Remember to check the alignment sector, otherwise it will cause damage to the hard disk, reduce the service life, and may lead to data loss in serious cases.
10. Select the version of the system installed, click [Start Installation], and you can enter the new system.
and then talk about how to set up the boot USB disk on the new motherboard UEFI? Entering the BIOS interface shortcut keys are the same as the previous steps. Just press and hold the corresponding shortcut keys. (PS: Because there is only a new motherboard here)
Then press [F7] to enter the advanced settings, and set USB drive startup option #1 to the front end. (PS: The BIOS system of the new motherboard generally sets UEFI boot by default, and supports graphical interfaces. It can also change English to Chinese, which is very intuitive)
Finally press [F10] to save and exit (at this time, you can unplug the USB flash drive #anti-failure design) to prevent restarting and entering the BIOS interface again. The way to install the system image to disk later is similar to the above.
