Take the UK as an example, the 64GB iPadmini is now priced at £569, up from £479 earlier in the day, while the 256GB version costs £749, up from £619 before. That's 19% and 21% price increase, respectively, making the iPad mini more expensive than the new 10.9-inch iPad, which starts at £499 and £649 at the same capacity.

Similar price increases can be seen in EU countries. For example, in Italy, the 64GB and 256GB iPad mini models are now priced at €659 and €859, respectively, while the previous price was €559 and €729, which rose 18%.

Price increases have also occurred in India and the entire Asia-Pacific market, although the increase in in these regions is relatively small. In Australia, for example, the price of iPad mini has risen by about 11%.

Apple did not give reasons for the rise in prices outside the United States, but it may be related to the strengthening of the dollar plus inflation and the increase in costs, although the prices of other devices in Apple's flagship hardware lineup remained the same.
