Japanese electronics giant Sony has announced two new ultra-compact laser projectors . The VPL-PHZ61 and VPL-PHZ51 are known as the world's smallest WUXGA 3LCD laser projectors, combining exceptional operational capabilities with high brightness and flexible installation, making them trusted solutions for a wide range of enterprise, education, museum, entertainment and simulation applications.
VPL-PHZ61 and VPL-PHZ51 are compact and easy to install on the ceilings of meeting rooms and schools, with the widest vertical offset in the fixed lens version at +55%. Both versions have extremely high brightness - VPL-PHZ61 at 6400 lumens (7000 lumens in the center) and VPL-PHZ51 at 5300 lumens (5800 lumens in the center). Lumens ensure a clear image projection, even in well-lit conference rooms or lecture halls to improve user collaboration and communication.
Thanks to Sony 's Reality Create real-time signal processing, mapping and analysis technology, the projector creates clear and sharp images for successful demonstration and display. Both new models accept 4K 60P input, making it compatible with 4K video sources. Sony's realistic creations can also improve the overall clarity, resolution and quality of visual effects, whether it's photos, graphics or text.
Also, when used with other 4K devices, the projector does not need a converter to project 4K content simultaneously and supports "dark" and HDCP2.3 for HDMI. Reality Text is a feature of two projectors that improves text-based presentation material by displaying clearer letters and lines and greater legibility.
projector also has innovative intelligent settings that optimize performance based on usage scenarios. Even in bright spaces, colors retain their contrast and vitality, thanks to the integration of tailored bright view features. The new atmosphere function uses the ambient light sensor to automatically detect the ambient brightness and calibrate the "Bright Light", "Color Gain" and "Reality Creation" settings accordingly. In addition, the new model uses new filter materials, eliminating the need to clean the filter in meeting rooms and classrooms.
Sony has not disclosed the prices and other details of the two projectors.
