Guo Mingchi said on Twitter today: "Due to the strong demand for iPhone14Pro models, my latest survey shows that Apple has asked Hon Hai to replace the production line of iPhone14 with iPhone14 Pro models." Foxconn's official name is Hon Hai.
Guo Mingchi said that Foxconn will convert some iPhone 14 assembly lines into iPhone 14 Pro assembly lines, adding that this conversion will be equivalent to increasing the shipment forecast of iPhone 14 Pro models by about 10%.
