Yesterday (September 28), Intel officially released the 13th generation Core processor .
Intel's 13th generation Core processor uses x86 high-performance hybrid architecture and improved version of Intel 7 process technology , up to 8 performance cores and 16 energy efficiency cores , a total of 4 cores/32 threads , and the CPU turbo frequency can reach 5.8GHz, overclocking will also break the record to 8GHz, can bring up to 15% single thread and 41% multi-threaded .
super multi-core, ultra-high frequency, stronger performance
performance core (P-Core) has not changed, just like the previous generation, the maximum frequency has been increased by 500MHz to 5.8GHz, and the L2 cache has increased from 1.25MB to 2MB; while the number of energy-efficiency core (E-Core) has doubled from 8 to 16, the highest frequency can reach 4.3GHz, and the L2 cache has increased from 2MB to 4MB. At the same time, the L3 cache capacity reaches a maximum of 36MB.
3 generation Core processors have added support for DDR5-5600 memory, and the 700 series motherboard supports more PCI-E 4.0 channels. Now the Z790 PCH can provide up to 20 PCI-E 4.0 pieces, which is 8 more than the previous generation. The number of USB 3.2 Gen 2*2 interfaces that can be provided has also increased from 4 to 5.
Compared with the previous generation of Core i9-12900K, the Core i9-13900K multi-threading performance is up to 41%. Among the 32 games tested, more than half of the games have more than 5% performance improvements compared with Core i9-12900K, and "League of Legends" has a 24% frame rate increase.

Core i7-13700K/KF: 8P+8E has a total of 24 threads, L3 cache 30MB, P-Core maximum turbo frequency 5.4GHz, E-Core maximum turbo frequency 4.2GHz, and maximum turbo frequency power consumption increased from 190W to 253W.
Core i5-13600K/KF: 6P+8E has a total of 20 threads, L3 cache is 24MB, P-Core maximum turbo frequency 5.1GHz, E-Core maximum turbo frequency 3.9GHz, and maximum turbo frequency power consumption increased from 150W to 181W.
