IT House reported on July 3 that i5-1235U is the mid-range processor in the latest 12th generation Core U15 series of Intel . It has a 2 small core + 8 large core design, with a total of 10 cores and 12 threads. According to foreign media NoteBookCheck testing, the CPU performance of this processor is similar to the previous generation 28W TDP 4-core 8-thread i7-1165G7.
As shown in the figure above, in the CineBench R20 multi-core performance test, the scores of i7-1165G7 and i5-1235U are basically the same as . In the single-core test, the i5-1235U leads by 3% with its updated architecture.
In terms of GPU, since the core display of i5-1235U is 80EU and the core display of i7-1165G7 is 96EU, the graphics performance of i5-1235U is not yet up to the level of of the previous generation i7, but it is consistent with the MX250 running score.
