In order to allow students to hear their own voices clearly, I bought the AENC AI Microphone Noise Canceler (ES-260), which has been well reviewed by everyone online. In fact, I didn’t even know about this thing at the beginning. My main purchase direction was expensive condenser microphones. However, I saw that everyone said that the sensitivity of condenser microphones is too high and it is easy to record noise if the environment is not good, so I gave up on condenser microphones. Next, I did a simple test. I inserted the Noise Canceller into the computer, and then used the AKG Y30 microphone on the Noise Canceller and the mic interface of the motherboard sound card to see how big the difference was between them.
The picture below is the waveform of the motherboard sound card mic input. You can see that the waveform is very thin. If you actually listen to it, the recorded voice is very small. If you force the volume to increase, you can hear the hum of the fan in my computer host and the typing on the keyboard. the sound of.
The picture below is the effect of using the noise canceller. You can see that the default loudness of the human voice has reached a very sufficient level. Even if the volume is increased again, the background is still clean, and the previous host noise and keyboard noise have basically disappeared. This level of noise reduction will have no impact on online classes.
