South Korean lens factory Sanyang has moved very fast in recent years. In the early years, it only produced large-aperture manual focus lenses. Only in 2016 did it take advantage of the development of the full-frame micro-single system to launch auto-focus lenses. There are currently 16 auto-focus lenses. Focusing lenses include mirrorless single-lens systems and single-lens reflex systems, but these lenses have something in common, that is, they are both fixed-focus lenses.

The newly exposed Sanyang lens spy photos indicate that the factory has the ability to produce autofocus zoom lenses, and the first one will be AF 24-70mm F2.8 FE, which is suitable for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras. The new lens has more specifications, but the lens body is equipped with a Mode 1/Mode 2 custom switch, which can be used to switch to MF manual focus mode, or to control the aperture through the original focus ring. This time, the first work of the Sanyang autofocus zoom lens is already a large ternary lens. I believe it will help build a better reputation for Sanyang, and help further squeeze into the first-line lens manufacturer, and cooperate with Tamron and Sigma. Good competition.
